Divine Tears, some facts to know.

So I'm going to try and compile everything I'm learning about these tears into one place. Read through the facts and you probably can learn a few things. Lot of things to know and hopefully you can add to it to answer any questions:


1.) Divine Tears can be earned in three ways, by training/killing in the battlefield seems to be the quickest way, but you can also skill or fight outside the battlefield to earn them as well.


2.) Tears can be cashed into your respective gods base for renown points. Renown points can be used for rewards from your sides exchange area. There are experience lamps, amours, consumables (Which provide bonus on the battlefield), and titles.
-F2P CAN use the larger lamps.
Tier 1 - 3k emote, 3k title "Acolyte", 1500 gloves, 1500 boots.
Tier 2 comes out at week 4.
Tier 3 comes out at week 7.


3.) You can also vote with Duke on the first floor in the lumbridge castle for bonus exp.
Currently, P2P is earning experience as bonus experience normally works. F2P is glitched/not meant to work at all.
(Let me know if this is changed.)


4.) P2P can earn 3K points every 24hrs and F2P can earn 1320. The day resets at 8:00PM EST (00:00 UST) convert this to your time zone to know when you have until.


5.) Also heard of Rare tears in P2P- rumors say it's for certain titles., need quote for these as well.


6.) Cashing in your tears for renown points will add to your sides strength. The more votes on your side- the stronger your god becomes.


7.) This is a very large event, it is going to last for over two months.


8.) The speed you gain tears are dependant on what speed you are on. There are x5-x1 speeds. 5x being fastest, x1 being slowest. The more you gain, the harder it is to get them. Your token allows you to keep gaining at a faster pace. Your token upgrades the more tears you earn. You do not need the token equipped for it to upgrade, it can upgrade in your bank.

Gold Token- Increases the amount of divine tears dropped (1 in 10 chance) and reduces the damage the player received from enemy units by 5%.
Runite Token- Increases the amount of divine tears dropped (1 in 10 chance), Reduces the damage the player received from enemy units by 5%, Increases damage to enemy units by 5%.
Dragon Token- Increases the amount of divine tears dropped (1 in 5 chance), Reduces the damage the player received from enemy units by 5%, then again by 5% (this is not a 10% reduction), and Increases damage to enemy units by 5%, then again by 5% (this is not a 10% increase).



Please add any more info to this list, tears can be very beneficial to us while we can still use them. Post any more info you have about them please.

You cast a vote, claim your reward, pick a skill, I picked agility, got 34408 bonus xp



I think that's the amount of bonus xp you get from a normal pendant, gives double xp when training.

Which did you vote on? Sara, Zammy, or both? Also.. I'm looking for a quote saying how the exp is actually given. I tried to go skilling and the experience wasn't given to me at all. Same experience as normal.

I was able to vote on both but didn't regret it now knowing how much bonus exp you were given. Have you actually received any of the bonus exp though?

Mining was fairly slow for me. I also did a full inventory of willows and didn't get a single tear. I read somewhere that someone was doing "Wicked hood blood altar" and was getting them fairly fast. Not sure what that is or how much truth is behind it.

I'm getting like 100-150 per hour fishing rocktails.I don't have any methods to compare it to either, except the battlefield.
