anyone should be able to get on and gain atleast some xp, but if they intentionally doesn't get any xp at all because they don't care, and do other skills that weekend instead, then they should just pay a fee for wasting time by signing up, like 200k or so and it can go to future events

Basically what happened to me. I tried notifying before the tracker was made but it was too late. :/

I think if you have a valid reason then fair enough, but just not to attempt anything is wrong.  The fines could all go to the winner
