Kalphite Queen Guide
Requirements for Kalphite Queen: • Two methods of combat -
Melee and
Magic or
Ranged.
• New visitors to the hive will
require a rope to climb down the hive.• 100K Coins for an Instance.
Recommended: • Superior elite void.
• T80 weapons or above.
• A pack yack or high alchemy runes in order to bank/alchemise drops.
How to defeat the Kalphite Queen: At the start of the fight, you're going to want to use
Melee as no other form of combat style will deal any damage.
Once defeated, you will then need to change your combat style to either
Ranged or
Magic.
The Kalphite Queen has a total of 40,000 health on each phase. The Kalphite Queen also has a max hit of 980!
Inventory/Gear - Layout 1 - Void: Requirements: • Full Superior Elite Void.
• Vampyrism Aura.
• Hybrid ring.
• Hybrid boots.
• Hybrid Necklace.
• Hybrid Cape.
This is roughly how your inventory should look when fighting the KQ.
• Can be replaced with any overloads or stat-boosting potions.
• Can be replaced with any ranged item.
• Can be replaced with whatever follow you may have (Ie; Steel titan, War tortoise OR High Alch runes).
Inventory/Gear - Layout 2 - Warpriest: Requirements: • Full Warpriest (Helm can be replaced by Slayer Helm if on task, cape can be replaced by a skillcape).
• Vampyrism Aura.
• Hybrid ring.
• Hybrid Necklace.
• Hybrid Cape.
The inventory will remain the same, however, you won't need any void items with you, obviously.
Benefits of using warpriest: • Damage Reduction (Saradomin/Zamorak) or Cooldown reduction (Bandos/Armadyl).
• The helmet can be replaced by a slayer helmet.
• Less effort when switching combat styles.

Based on my past experience, if you are to use Layout 1, you will rarely eat as much food as you may with Layout 2.
