Usually when people are sad, they don’t do anything. They just cry over their condition. But when they get angry, they bring about a change.

Nice quote. I have a friend who recently wrote an essay on how anger can be used as a drive toward excellence. I think it's true as long as you don't turn to other methods of abating your anger (such as alcoholism, or drugs).

**On a personal note:
I honestly envy this quote. I've recently noticed how much distant I have between my dad and I.
I truly wish we could rebuild our relationship, but it seems like he has already built himself
a perfect little family with my step-mom and their kids.

I envy this quote as well. All my Dad likes to do is upset me and say horrible things to me. Once he tried to physically hurt me but I retaliated awfully so he hasn't tried it again. He only shows me love sometimes.

lol, nice quote. It reminds me of Bender from Futurama when he uses an entire planet's slave force to build a monument of himself.

It's also interesting to note that if those who don't believe in an afterlife usually believe in immortality through remembrance. And the fact that people who did horrible things in the past and are remembered for those terrible acts, means that they are more immortal than any of us will ever be. Then again, it's debatable whether or not you would want to be remembered at all if it was for something so bad
