Welcome to the Clan News for December 2020!

Hi and welcome to this month’s Clan news.

What a month it has been with so many clan members receiving coal for Christmas or maybe that was just me, I hope everyone has finally finished feasting and their pants still fit. With everything going on around the world I wish everyone a Happy New Year and I hope everyone and their Family stay’s healthy.

As throughout the year the Events team have been working hard, I would like to take this time to thank everyone who organized or run and event throughout the year, without you we would not be as interesting or have as much fun. If anyone would like to run an event or have a new idea please talk to @Mog or any of the events team.

On a final note I would like to inform everyone that @Duck has step down from his Staff position, we would like to thank him for what he has done and wish him well with his RS goals and everything going on IRL.

Congratulations to our new clan helpers @cheeslets and @Geisla , if you need any assistance, advise, help or a good chinwag please don’t forget you can speak to any of our amazing Clan Helpers Team.

Now to anyone or anything that I may or may not have forgotten, I apologize in advance and to leave with a thought for the new year.

Last month's Events

December Skill War

Team Elves v Team Reindeer
What a weekend, three tough days slogging it out team again team in 3 skills, but only one team can emerge as the winner. The 3 skills in this war was Divination, Woodcutting and Thieving. I believe some people have some PTSD from their time in the Hall of memories.
But a HUGE congratulations to Team Reindeer for taking out the win. They were able to trample those pesky Elves into the ground in both Divination and Thieving.
But a huge congratulations to everyone involved for gaining over 142M xp.

Clan Christmas Party and Drop Party

Twas a night to remember, or maybe not depending on how drunk you were. We had one of the biggest Elder Tree lines (don’t quote me on that), a quiz and some other lucky prizes. But what everyone was really excited about was the Drop Party. First off I want to say a HUGE thank you to everyone that donated.
We were able to give away 1b worth of prizes over the night. I know some people got lucky.

Castle War Event with Excaliburz

As the Dust settles and the armor is polished, cleaned and put away we remember those fallen within the war, their was many heroic actions and maybe a couple of ill-conceived battle plans. All in all a lot of fun was had even though there was rivalry between clans with stunning, freezing and running for your life to score victory. I heard on the grape vine that their will be more Clan verse Clan events to come. Be on the lookout as we need your help to raise our Clan standard high and show everyone else what we already know. Consentus !!!!!
I hear whispers on the grape vine that their may be another war on 8th Jan

PVM Bingo

Sharpen your pitchforks, light the torches I hear it’s penguin hunting season. Or maybe you're like @rsruinedme and have fallen in love with QBD because you’ve spent so much time chasing a single item. I’m still trying to work out if @rsruinedme & QBD or @Haseo & Bisdi are the better pairing/cuter couple.
But what a month of drops, even if it wasn’t the item you are looking for. Big thank you to @Mog for setting up and destroying people’s soul over this fun event. With only a little time left to finish your card it’s looking like no one will achieve “Bingo” . It looks to me like a 3 way race to the finish, good luck in the final hour.
But on a more serious note I know a lot of people look forward to and enjoy the Bingo events, If you haven’t tried one you should sign up for one in the future, they are a great way to inspire you to do different things.

Something old, something new and Something Blue

No we don't have a wedding on the cards that I know about, but we have had some amazing events over the past month that you may or not be aware of. I've listed a couple below.
In the past month we have had mass events at Gwd1 & 2, the cheesy Portables, Sunday Penguins with @FleurR3belle , AOD slaughterhouse, the Beast Master graveyard every Wed and Sunday and Saturday Night Discord Fever.

Jan Clue Casket Opening

Jan 1st @ 21:30 GMT we are opening Clue Caskets, bring what you’ve saved we are accepting anyone from 1 to 40k Caskets. I can’t wait to watch and see all the broadcasts from everyone. Or you are also welcome to come watch my disappointment of not getting a broadcast again.

Skill of the Week

Shhhh, Can you keep a secret ? So I’ve been digging through the hidden chats and secret messages and so far I’ve discovered that there is a shake up of the event “Skill of the Week”. From what I’ve been able to find out their will be a new points system, a dedicated discord channel and the leaderboard will be reset. You know what that means we can finally steal the title away from Laggs and Lauren.
