On Saturday, 28th of September, SpaceX CEO and Lead Engineer, Elon Musk. Unveiled the most details about their next big rocket "Starship" we've heard in a while. Including when we can expect it to be launched into orbit. I'll also be posting the the video of the entire presentation in the next few days along with a tl;dw (too long; didn't watch) summary considering it's an hour and a half video.

Surely people should be focusing on this world not travelling to others.

Would you guys go to space if you had the opportunity to?

Other worlds could bring our world benefits as well!

Yes. I would go tomorrow.

SpaceX and Tesla are doing both. Tesla is helping to push the world towards cleaner energy.
SpaceX has plans to create a satellite network to supply internet to every inch of the Earth.
The benefits of going to other planets outweigh any reason we shouldn't in my personal opinion.

I wonder how long it is actually going to be before we have people on Mars.
No I woudn't go as it would mean leaving everyone behind but it is very exciting time to be alive.

Potentially as early as 2024. But I would put folding money down that they will have many, many delays.
