How to make a Good looking and informative breaking news post!

Why?

Well if you where the reader reading this posted Breaking News, would you rather read a 5 sentence post point out key facts and important things on the topic or a giant copy and paste thats 200 sentences long, when only 10 of the sentences really matter.

Pick an appropriate title, Generally take the title from the article add more

Take the Title from the article and put a spin on it or take key facts and get creative.

Now Remember you do not want your title misleading, you want it informative, but to the point where it makes you want to know more than what you've learned from the title.

A Title from a Breaking News Article could have been

Take that and Make it something like

Some readers need visuals to help them more, or become more engaged. In todays world its all about seeing, so take the time find some pictures via Google, the article other articles on the matter, but be careful about pictures off of Google some may be misleading
Step 5: 90% Complete
(click to show/hide)State an Opinion. Share your thoughts, let the reader know what you think and make them want to give more than feed back on just the article it self.

Make sure to Separate this though, make one bold and one not.
Something to the effect that the reader does not think it is part of the article

Other Key Factors
(click to show/hide)-Organization is Good (Not Needed)
-Spelling
-Color is Good, mix it up but do not use colors to bright
-Getting your opinion across properly
-Getting Article Across Well
-Non-biased (Do not opinion-ate the article)

Shef:
Not really sure how useful this is. You mention a lot about making articles short, to the point, with all of the facts which is common sense. And you also make points of presentation and yet this thread in itself is pretty annoying since you've used spoiler tags in each section.

A lot easier to have the different steps sectioned and looks cleaner rather then it just being sub-headed, but I do also see the point you're making.
