Happy New Year!
We want to thank you all for a fantastic 2012, and to wish you the very best for 2013!
It's amazing to think that 2012 saw the Evolution of Combat, 200 million accounts created and the release of Player Owned Ports. We don't plan to slow down in the New Year, either: expect new skills, a huge grandmaster quest event, and the might of the Kalphite King, just for starters.
You’ll be hearing more about our plans for 2013 in the near future, and you can expect Behind the Scenes - January to be released on the 2nd of January, once we've returned from our New Year's celebrations.
Finally, in true New Year fashion, a few of the RuneScape JMods have set game-based resolutions. What RuneScape resolutions have you set for yourself? Get on the forums and compare goals...
Mod Stevew: I want to get all of my skills to level 80 (at least two 99’s!)
Mod Zach: I want to get 99 Crafting
(Zach was also keen to point out that he already has two 99s!)Mod Mike: I want to finally max! (It’s probably not going to happen...)
Mod Luiz: I want to complete all of the quests!
Mod Sushi Pi: I want to beat Mod Mike in a 1v1 duel at the Duel Arena!
Mod Seven: I want to work on levelling at least one of the requirements for Player-Owned Ports – they look awesome!
Mod Sabre: I want to save up enough GP to finally get a full set of the awesome Pernix armour!
Mod Osborne: There will be no sleep, talking or chocolates from my stocking until I have the Fishing levels for Hubbub the Whaler in Player Owned Ports.
Mod C3DPO: To finally get my Pack Yak!!!
Mod Vicki: Is going for a quest cape!
Mod Ash: To work on another big update that makes players say "omg".
