Hi guys,

Some players may start to receive emails over the next couple of weeks from us with this text:

'RuneScape’s gearing up for another name release. To keep [YOUR DISPLAY NAME], simply log in before the end of the year.'

If you don't get one, there's nothing to worry about - your name is safe - if you do, however, receive an email, all you need to do is log in to prevent it being 'cleaned up'. It's all based on how long your account has been inactive for.

We'll be doing another name release early next year - make sure you keep your eyes peeled to our newsposts!

Unfortunately the name Ethereal belongs to an active account... might check Vale as it's my go to second choice
