i think this would give new competition on being high rank skiller as there are new skills to train and it will actually be useful having 99 hp summoning prayer as it means you wont die and can do a lot of other things.

on other notes is magnus lvl 1 all combat skills? bonfires for 99 summoning will be fun :P

Looking at this update constantly, I see the positives.

I am looking forward to training summoning and prayer again without getting combat levels. Would give me a bigger incentive to continue training other skills like firemaking for charms.

However for pures and such, I just can't see them benefiting. There is no incentive for them to train all skills to 99, cause they will be max once they hit 99 defense and another 99 combat stat.

Going to stay old school till I manage to fund 80+ summoning and prayer in one go ;D

I doubt he has any zeals.... But I'd imagine he already has 99 prayer sitting in his bank and maxed players lining up to lootshare rocklobs for him.

They better make  it 100% clear what they plan on doing now, and potentially in the future, because if they decide to change their mind and a bunch of skillers get these skills up and it comes back to level their CB there will be some serious shit fits going on lol

Thats the exact point that Redtunnel makes, he suggests we all carry on as normal until things settle down.  Just in case they change their minds on a few things.

Look how many high level skillers rushed in Dungeoneering and got levels.

That's their own fault for not checking content ^^

To all those saying hitpoints will be beneficial, it really wont. With the new system the majority of your hp will come from your armour you can wield, so lrc will most likely still be able to one-shot level 4's since they will hit in the 1000's.

Prayer could be handy, but not so much really. Just more total levels.

Summoning could change a lot, but then as mentioned, do you risk the potential gain of combat if Jagex changes their mind and includes it in the combat formula when they rework Summoning?
