The 12 month VIP package is 40% more expensive than a regular package. 3 month is 54% more expensive and 6 month is 44% pricier. Good marketing on a "sale"?

Still better than ours! $112.99 for Gold and $60 for a normal 12 month package. 

The prices are unreal ... I will not be buying any package this year!

I think £65 for a years membership is pretty good. Paying each month would cost £72, so with all the benefits and being cheaper it's a no brainer for me.

Im inclined to agree with cherry and ill be renewing my package sometime tomorrow, i have been buying vip since its release and in my opinion its one easy payment with some goodies (which come on, we all like goodies) for a fair price considering other p2p mmo's cost more. As i say this is my opinion and is personal to my situation.

You get 365 keys with the Gold premier Package over a regular one, that alone makes it better value for money.

But you can't decide when to use the keys. It'll be one per day compared to a situation where you buy keys and you decide when to use them (presumably during a TH promotion). This renders the extra keys next to useless to the average consumer.

You still get 365 extra keys, even if you value them less. I mean a lot of TH promos run about 4 days now, and almost every week, so about half of your keys should be used during a TH promo, even if it is a crappier one. So even if you valued the keys at half their jagex value, it would still be better value than the ordinary membership package.

I understand that the extra keys makes it more worth while ... But it's still too expensive for me. To be completely honest, I imagine that half way through 2016 the cosmetic pet, swords etc will become available - Just like the Lava Armour did.

£64.99 is far too pricey..I think at the most...I think £55-60 may be reasonable... I don't know, just me ..

Anyway; I may be buying the membership by attempting to relocate my billing address to somewhere like Denmark, it'll only cost £55 (Roughly) then.

You can get the cosmetic items from other membership offers, which probably will not be overpriced. It has been outlined on Reddit that the VIP package is in large tailored to newer players, which I personally find odd since the playerbase mostly comprise of veterans.

Also, I'm not sure it's a good idea to change country to pay in a different currency. It might work if you're paying with paypal, but if you're paying with card, it's illadvised.

If I am to make a yearly down payment, I expect some perks to come with that. I don't expect to pay extra for the perks. It reeks of bad marketing and I am confident significantly fewer players will buy the package this year.

I don't think that is actually allowed and could get you banned from what I read when I had a little glance at rs3 reddit. I saw someone tried doing that to get a cheaper price then later on he got billed the difference so he still paid the full whack.
This whole "deal" is a fucking joke any way. Takes the piss.
