Recently, we made some improvements to Fish Flingers, so what better way to celebrate than to hold a competitive fishing event that everyone can get stuck into? Fish Flingers is a fantastic Fishing Distraction and Diversion, and there are no level, quest or item requirements to take part.

Whether you’re an accomplished angler or a nautical noob, you’ll have full support and help all the way – we’ve rounded up a gang of helpful Player Moderators (P Mods) who are specifically interested in supporting events. You can recognise P Mods by the silver crown next to their game chat. They’ll be heading off to Isla Anglerine throughout the weekend for a festival of fishing fun!

So how do you take part?

Check out the dates and times below to find your most convenient time to head to Catherby Beach on World 89. Look out for the P Mods in the area who will organise everybody and get you into the next available competition (there may be a short wait before each one). Tasty XP is the prize for those who push their fishing to the limits!

The official friends chat for the event is 'Crown Events' so be sure to join that channel.

Once the event is in full swing, we want you to grab some screenshots and email them to [email protected]. If you can get some fishy puns in there and make us laugh you have a good chance of making it onto our Facebook page. Make the most of the oppor-tuna-ty!
