To me, I see the idea of 1 item popping and 3 as the same level of gamble. But I don't know if it changes anything legally. 3 items all white still sucks.

This looks crazy

I think it's very strange that a lot of shop stock is nearly always empty. I don't know if it's intentional or not to keep from being abused but it's got to be a problem for HCIM accounts etc. trying to get stuff done. I feel like they could just increase the price so a majority of players will still use GE, hmm.

I don't think RS is in trouble of dying, but this is an interesting suggestion:

If my friends didn't play this and convince me to try I honestly may never have played RS. I'm not a PC gamer besides this and the graphics are fun but not great compared to similar games. I would actually love to see the full game redone again like they did from RS1 to 2 to 3.

I wouldn't mind a graphical rework. I wonder how it would work out for people that play on weaker computers, though. A lot of people play this game because it's easy to run compared to other MMORPGS.

I don't think Jagex would take current players tech specs into account, in this particular case. They have provided OSRS for that niche (sort of) and will probably deem losing a few veteran players sacrifice worth making.

They'll say something along the lines of this being how they "grow for the future for all players." Think about this, RS has 282 million accounts and I would bet 50% at a minimum are alts / new accounts after hacks/bans and bots etc. That took 19 years.

Apex Legends reached 50 million players in 4 weeks. CS:GO has 24 million unique users every month. There are so many more gamers now than 20 years ago and RuneScape is struggling to bring them in. Jagex is boasting better numbers recently, but it is not on par with other games growth by a longshot.

I think there is so much dead content, the list is endless. 

When they first had mobile Old School was so popular, the aim was to keep them playing after the hype.  I wonder if they have?

Is rs3 mobile as popular?  Id love to see the facts and figures.

Mobile games are getting huge, it could help gain players for sure.
