Someone's glitched RS3 account

Saw on reddit and Lilly asked me to post it:

Basically, there's 3 shadow pets and the guy got the 1/1k and 1/3k drop rate pets on the average drop rate and had killed 48k blissful shadow creatures without getting the 1/2k drop pet, before someone else (not the actual person) posted it for a Jmod to check into his account.

TL:DR, A bug stopped the right check from happening and Omid was unable to be given the item he had spent a rather long time trying to get, so we've now given it to him because quite frankly he should of had it by now and wasn't ever going to get it due to this isolated bug.

EDIT: I thought I'd give you all an explanation into this just so you're aware of what has exactly happened.

If players unlock the Hermit crab pet there was a bug that stops players being able to acquire the Dark mind, soul and body from the various shadow creatures.
In Omid's case he had already unlocked the Dark Soul and Body before the Hermit Crab had released
Upon the release he unlocked the Hermit Crab which had some leftover checks which stopped him from getting the Dark Mind, by which point he then amassed over 40,000 kills.
This particular bug is being fixed for Monday's update.

I'm starting to wonder if Ardo has had the edimmu pet drop, but has forgotten and left it in his bank...

Wow, that guy is crazy to go all the way up to 43K kills without any drop. Why would he even do that, that's 20x the actual drop rate... I would have just stopped at 10K.
