Basic Overview of the Siege of Falador Event
• 2 Week Event, starts later October or early November.
• Works similarly to a small World Event, but doesn't require you to sign up for a side, just do whatever you like.
• Rewards Commendations as you do activities around Falador. These can be turned in for rewards like XP lamps, Challenge Mystery • Bags, and some unique rewards like Tiny White and Black Knight pets, and items to upgrade the "Banner of Farradorn".
• Activities include killing White and Black Knights (and battling the bosses), sabotaging or fixing catapults, healing the wounded, or popping balloons dropped by Party Pete in the city.
• Will launch with a Miniquest involving a search for the Sword of Raddallin and the Banner of Farradorn, the item the Kinshra are looking for. (Raddallin was the first King of Falador, and Farradorn was an old name for Falador!)
• Launches with a new Fun Weapon, the Candyfloss Maul, works similarly to the Easter Carrot.
• There will be a projection of Lord Daquarius outside Falador explaining the Kinshra side of the story
• The barricades, fires, and wounded will be removed once the Event ends.
• The Event will affect any future story a small bit, but not hugely.
• The graphical rework is of the city and all NPCs inside it. Sir Tiffy for instance is reworked, and there are now Male and Female white Knights visible, rather than just gender neutral/male ones.
