Just found these stats. They are pretty cool and haven't seen them discussed on this forum yet.

Here's just one interesting part: the amount of accounts they have banned just between 21st - 27th January.



We are all used to see so many players online on OldSchool but looking at these stats, how many of them are actually bots?

Interesting numbers. They do seem large though? 140k permenant bans in 1 week, I'm not an osrs player so cannot comment on the state of the community, but that seems a lot. I didn't realise the bots were that extensive in the game. I'm pleased with the rs3 numbers though, I guess their systems are working mostly!

Interesting also that over 98% of bans are straight to permanent, no second chances in a lot of cases

I wonder if the temp bans include mutes?



The above should be a bit of a concern for Jagex. Over 49% of visitors searching for 'email' and 'contact' in their Support Centre suggesting this information is not readily available or easy to find. I know this is a tactic a lot of organisations employ to cut down on spam but the stats tell you there is a demand for this information! Maybe this isn't the case for the other 51 weeks of the year.

Edit: just checked the previous 2 weeks of stats and figures are similar

People always comment on how many bots are there is OSRS, looks like they are actively fighting the war.

I have not a lot of faith in Jagex Support they are difficult to contact.
