Runescape Name(s) - where did yours come from?

Hi,
  Some of them are obvious, some I am guessing I don't want to know but some definitely look like they have interesting back stories.
  Mine is not phenomenally interesting.  I tend to pick lesser-know book characters (I am a huge reader - will read pretty much anything)  I like a lot of Diana Wynne Jones books - Mara is a character in Dark Lords of Derkholm.
  Post where your name came from (and even if it is obvious - is there an association that made you choose it?)

Added some names to my block list and it had been changed the day after so I changed to it, I never spoke to whoever owned it before.

Comet was my Swiftkit IRC name for years and I like space themes and in general so it went along the same lines.

I've had a few different rsns, its_steven (self explanatory) lovestrong (christina perri album name) and now jarofhearts. Jarofhearts definitely is christina perri's most known song maybe now it might be thousand years or human do to the fact jarofhearts is the son that made her famous. But in my opinion it's my favorite song by her. Song has a lot of meaning to me I had a rough break up and my friend sent me some break up songs and that was one of them. I have an ignore list full of names but I don't think include ever change my name now.

I tried to think of something licentious and kinky that would be evasive and elude the scrutiny of moderators. Just kidding, but this seems to be the common belief of people who interpret my name, lol. Unfortunately, there's an unimaginative story behind my name. My friend and I had twin names back in RS Classic  and we thought it'd be cool to have that once again when we returned to RS. He came up with Greentunnel and I simply chose red :P

My username was actually banned for being offensive a couple of years ago. I was baffled moderators would take their imagination that far. The ban was revoked after a day or so and I got the name back (thanks all who helped me get it back).

Um.  At the time it was as a joke, and now it's just cringey when I think about it.  ;_;

Will change whenever a few specific names become available, so hopefully over the next few weeks.


And for my P2Per I call it whatever sounds nice to me at the time, or as a joke.

I met Skichi which was my favourite runescape youtuber for years (met him just in 2012 which was a long time after he stopped video making) anyway after that felt like having a similar sounding name and Skyish sounded similar also Sky is a beautiful sight so picked it up, got it for a couple years no intentions to change it so far also its annoying when my friends change name and i don't know who is who so i try not to change mine.

Training at Monkey agil course and was thinking monkeys are actually pretty awesome in rs so i wanted something referring to monkey :)

But lot of names taken so ye ;P
