RS Mobile app

Does anyone use the app as their primary way to play? I recently downloaded the app after someone mentioned the free loot. So I log in and claim 15 free keys, then decided to mess around with it. It is actually kinda nice looking and has a few features that I didn't know about; like tracking of all the drops I've gotten - even gp count.

So, I've managed to do a slayer task and some woodcutting. But, besides that I'm scared I might not be able to control it properly and die. It did also freeze on me, so I had to force close it and was still logged in. I also am having a hard time getting used to the inverted camera direction controls.

Oh, I didn't even think of that. I'll have to try and play more to see if freezing is common due to my phone specs. I guess then I'll know my limits =p

Might be a afk skilling option still.

I've played around with it but not done anything significant on it. I'd probably like playing it on a tablet if I had one

Yeah, I have a cheap old tablet I could try... might be nice for trips. =) Also the bigger screen tbh

I'm looking forward to the application being made available to F2P; that's mainly what I'm waiting for.

I have a bond, so I'm waiting for the right time to redeem it, then I'll mess around with the controls of the mobile app.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S8; that should be recent enough to run the app with minimal issues in regard to graphics and such?

Amazing for afk stuff. Still haven't figured it out but if i go to another app its prone to close itself even with settings off that shouldn't close it. Runs like a charm on my new galaxy s10.
Still love it cause i can smith or fish while out and about and just check it every 5 mins lol. I can't seem to get it to run full afk for 5 mins unless its my main app running, but can still lock the screen at least. Runs for 4-6 hours from full battery. Wouldn't use it for anything but afk skilling/combat

I've enjoyed the app so far.

Combat (at least low level) has been bearable so far; slayer is okay.

Skilling goes pretty smoothly, and I like how compact the interface is, with collapsing tabs for your inventory and such.

The app has some issues with crashing, so yeah, a bit unstable, but otherwise lovely.

Still feels... unpolished, I guess?
