Or play one of my many others, doesn't bother me much ;oI plan on some combat levels anyway if reverted back to old system. If they don't give resets would you still see people with HP/Prayer as "Maxed skillers" if they had all skills 99 and 120 Dung etcSo if this happened you'd stop playing on your skiller? And what "Combat" levels would you plan on getting? If he has another maxed account then why bother leveling combat on the skiller to? I personally wouldn't see them as skillers if Prayer and HP once again contributed to your combat level, as they would have gained combat. Personally this is the reason why I haven't raised Prayer or HP.

Maybe back in the day when level 3 skillers were not so much rare but not as mainstream as they are today. What I don't understand is the reasoning behind quitting an account because it has a "Combat" level(s)

What I don't understand is the reasoning behind quitting an account because it has a "Combat" level(s)If it's not how I want it, then I won't play it. I'm not out there to get the most xp on one account.. Or achieve the most on one account.. I have numerous accounts of all different builds, I make them because that's what I feel like doing at the time. I made Stee because my friend Marc was playing his skiller again after I helped him get reset from 7 back to 4 combat so I decided to make a new one myself (Had others but I just like to start again) I change the different builds of accounts I own to what I feel like. My "Chompys" account for example was something I hadn't seen before and EOC ruined the plans for that account so I quit it, even with all it's xp and unlockables etc that it had on it because it just wasn't fun to play if it wasn't going to be how I imagined. Not one to try do my best on a single account to be "noticed" or "the best" at something. I just do it because it's fun and that is all I ever wanted it to be and that's how it should be.I apologise about how long it took me to get back to you on your question, Liam ;o
It appears we are getting the old combat formula back, you can now vote for it in-game:RuneScape Poll - Combat Legacy ModeIt doesn't seem very thought out. I personally have strong doubts it will work well with two systems in place.Think about e.g. the wilderness, for example during warbands, when people in mixed modes are on the same world and pking, what will the wildy level scaling be like? This would become especially evident for skillers. If I chose to be in the legacy mode, I would be level 3, whereas a currently maxed skiller with 99 pray and hp would be level 37. With the legacy mode activated, we shouldn't be able to fight each other at DWF, but in the EoC mode, we would both be level 4. If two players are in different modes, one mode would have to take precedence (my guess is EoC mode unless on a themed world). If one mode takes precedence like that, we are back to the issue with misleading information again. On a side note, I don't think that this solution will warrant resets for skillers with hp and pray, should they still want to. I'm guessing that J-Mods will simply reply that you will still be a pure skiller in EoC mode and thus don't need to be reset.

The question has been asked and they are only going to use ONE combat formula, Legacy has NOTHING to do with combat forumla.Pips is doing research to maybe make a whole new formula, keep the current or use the old. Having 2 formula's both running alongside each other can not work in any scenario, this is just basic planning and research, they is no need to jump to conclusions on what is happening. They say it themselves every update in future will have EOC in mind, just because old style combat is nearly coming back does NOT mean old combat formula is also. Will have to wait and see before jumping to any conclusions

I just asked on the livestream what is happening with the combat formula, and Mod Pips said that they will be deciding what they will be doing with the combat formula in a separate poll etc, and they will only be ONE combat formula throughout the entire game.So they may be a whole new combat formula all together.
