So I'm in priff buy the G.E. this player by the name of 'Russet' askes me to help him with some supplies. So I'm like okay he then trades me an adamant limb and askes me to see what it sells for. At the time it sold for 47k. He said he was buying them for invention, as a supply. He asked me to get all my items worth money and trade him them so i could use his gold to him buy them for him and then trade me my items back. So I agree to be nice and help a fellow scaper out. So I trade him my dry' rapiers, my torag set, my k*rail set, he gives me about 50m i buy these adamant limbs for him for 50m 1k of them. I go to trade him and he tells me he's an illusionist and logs. I rage lobby and explain to Consentus my clan chat what had happen, which i get a reply of " you fell for that kola..... man." What he did was simple now that i've been effected I realize.

He had placed an offer for an item no one really uses in this case adamant limbs for 50k ea then asked me to give him all my items of wealth so that i could have gold to help him buy the item he had reached the limit for. After trading him my items of wealth i then buy the item he has reached the limit on, that he has selling for 50k each. allowing him to get the 50m he had bought my items with and running off with my items. he kept qcing his wealth and when i asked why when you have 5b do you need to scam me my items can you just trade me back he told me your items someone else has they belong to a flipper now.

I raged and lobbied so i couldnt report him for scamming, I hope this reaches someone, so you can avoid this bad thing this man 'Russet' did. If a moderator so happens to see this i hope not to get my gold back, but at least read chat log, see his grand exchange history, look at his trade history and ban this terrible man for misleading me when I was only trying to help someone out when they had reached a limit. I realiz this is my own fault, but i just wanted to come here and warn you guys of this scam

Please also take the time to support my rant thread on RSOF just a simple bump or support comment its fine. I just want people to be informed of this terrible scam, so people can avoid it in the future.

It sucks that this had happened to you May I suggest you remove the guys name on your rant thread, otherwise they'll lock/remove thread for mentioning names [it sucks, I know]!

I hope you can get on your feet in next to no time after this..Being scammed sucks!

1) How did you believe that addy limbs sell for nearly 50k? (think about the cost of making and alch values).
2) Why did you believe that someone actually buys addy limbs 50k ea?

If you have had any kind of logic, you would have not got scammed.
