My suggestion is for an expansion to the skilling side of invention, I know currently there’s plans to release augmented pickaxes with the mining / smithing rework. But this suggestion is expanding skilling further.

I introduce to you ’Siphon Gauntlets’ these would be a T80 skilling tool; blueprints and ability to create would be unlocked at 65 invention offering it as an advanced skilling alternative down the line in comparison to woodcutting and fishing which are currently offered early on.

Siphon Gauntlets would allow the player to level up their gauntlets by two methods! training divination or runecrafting! Opening up 2 new skills for the player to train invention via!


To create:

-Leather gloves
-80 magic parts
-100 metallic parts
-10 Imbued components
-5 light components

Looks good. Only suggestion that I'd prefer over this is something that you can level up at the same time as another (like armor and weapon with combat). Skilling is currently only 1 item at a time making it extremely slow compared to combat methods. Having something that could be leveled up while leveling up augmented hatchets or the rod-o-matic would be useful.

They will steal your idea mate, that idea was solid

Mod mark did say at runefest they do still look at ideas that aren't voted on.

There is no wonder why people don't really bother with Runelabs. It's a great idea, shame to see it removed because it's not related to the eastern lands. They could easily add a search filter to the content suggested. For example a checkbox whether the content you suggested is related to what they are specifically looking for and then have a search filter for that as well. That way people could leave ideas for the targeted content as well as general content
