In this forum post i will be trying to post a tip or trick about runescape everday for as long as i know something, people will certainly know alot of these already but some may not be known as well.

Day 1: Trying to get some fletching gains? 99, 120? even 200M perhaps? try making rune arrows, best thing to compare this to are broad arrows, broad arrows are only about 50Kxp/h more than rune arrow but are 7X more expensive than rune arrows!

This will be a great thread to follow, might imp;rove my gains

Day 2: By holding your mouse on ur minimap u can actually zoom the minimap bigger or smaller by scrolling.

Day 3: POF (player owned farms) is a great way to level up farming, however u might of noticed boosts don't work here ex: bonus xp/double xp/avatar boost/pulse cores. However there is one thing that does work here and is definitely worth using, this is (decorated) farming urns which will add a flat 20% xp bonus.

Day 4: to get the most out of your oddments the best thing to buy would be pulse cores, if ur one of those people that buy silverhawk downs i would recommend to either swap to pulse cores or to buy both pulse cores and silverhawk downs then use the pulse cores with the silverhawk downs as result get more xp/feather and get more out of ur oddments. (Hope this one makes sense)

yes you can but pulse cores is alot more advisable as these give about 240BXP/oddment and the lamp gives about 128XP/oddment

Day 5: In this one i wanna compare two crafting methods being black dragonhide shields and green dragonhide shields aswell as showing how good boosts can actually be.

Theres a couple boosts u should use here is everything usefull when crafting:
XP boosts:

• Clan avatar: 6% BXP
• Portable crafter: 10% BXP
• Artisans outfit: 6% BXP

Boosts that save GP:

• Portable crafter: 10%
• Scroll of dexterity: 6.25% (green dhide) 2.5% (black dhide)
• Modified artisan bandana: 1.25%

If only using a portable which most people do:
Black shields: 8.33GP/XP and 605KXP/h
Green shields: 5.3GP/XP and 435KXP/h

However if using all of the listed boosts:
Black shields: 6.26GP/XP and 665Kxp/h
Green shields: 2.89GP/XP and 480Kxp/h

Now for a better comparison lets say u want to get 10M crafting xp by only using a portable crafter:
Black shields would take you 16.5 hours and cost 83.33M
Green shields would take you 23 hours and cost you 53M

Meaning if you can make a consistent 5Mgp/h black shields would be worth doing over green shields.

However with ALL listed boosts 10M crafting xp would look like this:
Black shields would take you 15 hours and cost 62.6M
Green shields would take you 21 hours and cost you 28.9M

Meaning black shields would only be worth it if u can make about 6Mgp/h consistently
Personally i train with green shields since i like crafter more than making money. So its up to you what you craft.

Note: The 10% pulse core effect is usually always active in a populated portables world however i did not include this to the calculations.
Note 2: These rates are considering u craft 1600 shields/hour which can be done easily as u can do upto 1800 if ur tryharding.

ALTERNATIVE METHOD (for 99): Make jewellery untill u reach level 74 crafting this is often profit depending on what u make ruby rings are good profit. Once u reach 74 crafting u can make dragonstone bracelets all the way to 99 crafting this method is about 200Kxp/hour and will make you about 100M gp from levels 74 - 99.

This took a while to make as accurate as possible and i hope it helps atleast one of you, if you have any questions feel free to ask

However i usually like to go straight to the point so basically theres 3 things u can do in pof

• Go for XP gains
• Go for GP gains
• Go for GP and XP gains

• This one is what i do, shortly explained what u wanna do is go to world 2 in POF to buy animals for way cheaper than anywhere else including GE, u wanna buy 12 animals that go into small pens, 8 that go into medium pens, and 10 that go into large pens (4 of the large ones should go in the breeding pen) all of these should be the highest animals u can get at ur level. u simply wait for them to grow up to elder, u gather the XP, remove the animals, sell the animals for beans or for a small amount of money to players, if selling for beans make sure to talk to granny to change which buyers u get. With the best possible setup it would look something like this: 12 chinchompas, 8 zygomites, 10 dragons which would be approx 5.2M xp/week (including urns) with very little time consumed and little money spent. This does not require feeding them or cleaning their poop.
• If going for GP u should buy animals again in world 2 at POF and have them breed this requires feeding them and can be done in all pens by purchasing the ability using beans to breed in normal pens. Once your animals breed u can either sell them at baby stage or let them grow to adolescent stage to sell for more money.
• When going for a bit of both u wanna do exactly the same as if going for XP the only difference is u should sell them back to players when they reach adolescent stage.

Current prices of best animals per pen:
Chinchompa: -baby            75k-125k
                        -adolescent  100k-150k
                        -elder             30k-50k

Zygomite:      -baby            175k-225k
                       -adolescent  250k-300k
                       -elder            100k-150k

Dragon:         -baby             400k-550k
                       -adolescent  600k-750k
                       -elder             200k-300k
