Well you have ~4 days to get 250 corn, and you get 20 per day from just doing challenge. So it'll take you about 6 hours of gameplay to get the remaining. If you'll be playing that before 4 days is up, then wait.

You can always buy more from GE if want, roughly 2k per last I heard.

Yeah I ran into the same problem, had no idea you could buy off the G.E - long story short, I wasted $10 on keys when I could of just bought the corn.
