On this day, April 2nd, 2013, Jagex released two amazing QOL improvements into the game. Dual wielding (inside of daemonheim) and the beloved charming imp were added to Runescape. These made dung better for dps and the charming imp improved slayer and summoning immensely.

On this day, April 3, 2006, Jagex released the quest A Souls Bane. This quest takes place in a rift where a boy has been missing for 25 years. All the monsters you fight are twisted creatures created by this boys thoughts. You also unlock the cosmetic override of the Anger weapons for completing this quest.

On this day, April 4th, 2011, Jagex released a very controversial piece of content, the Livid Farm. Many people don't enjoy the livid farm and feel the completionist cape requirement was to high. Personally I enjoy the livid farm and find it as a fun piece of content. Some rewards from the livid farm are useful though, such as Make leather, Borrowed Power, and disruption shield to name a few.

On this day, April 5th, 2014, Mod MMG released a few statistics about the community. The "average" account was created in 2009 with a total of 1614 and had highest levels in strength and woodcutting but the lowest were farming and divination. Along with this the community was 84% male and 16% female.

On this day, April 7th, 2014, Jagex released a bank update which allowed for drag and drop and also bank presets. I am certain if Jagex removed presets today many people would be lost as the presets are extremely useful for bankstanding skills and bossing. This update was a small QoL which made a massive impact on how we play the game today.

On this day, April 19th, 2012, Jagex released an update which gave a few Quality of life updates which made things a little easier. Runescape received the heads-up display for the dungeoneering keys instead of taking space in your inventory and slayer monster spawn rates in dungeoneering was increased. I personally love the heads-up display on the keys because it allowed everyone in the team to use them instead of the specific person who was holding the key.

For yesterday, on 30 April 2002, the Thieving skill was released!

Ardougne was added to the game on the same day as a place to train the new skill.

Random fun fact: On 1 May 2020, I will be achieving 120 Thieving!
