The fact that ppl don't want these is really sad. It's cosmetic ffs. And it gives some sort of incentive to skill past 99 and rewards players that do.

I think the incentive of getting that much xp in a skill is being finally finished and realizing how pathetic your life is.

The majority havn't read or understood it properly, a significant number of people actually believe they are changing level cap from 99 to 120, which will impact votes until they learn to read or have it explained to them slowly ^^!

Ya rs community has really been clueless in the more recent polls. Like voting for div bob which will do nothing and elf city being focused in mining and smithing even tho fishing really needs an update and those skills are trained almost exclusively though warbands.

I would prefer 200m capes, but I'd be content with 120 capes too. It's a definite yes from me. I'd even consider flaunting around in a cape again! I'd probably go for thieving or fishing (and ultimately slayer).

They are so many capes already in game, but capes such as the 120 capes can add a better variety to what people wear and "flaunt around in" instead of a large number of max capes everywhere you look.

I concur with the majority of the comments on this thread. Most aren't grasping what this update would entail. Any time I've seen this topic brought up in public chat, multiple people always mention something to the effect of "I don't want all skills to go up to level 120".

Voting no so that others cannot have something you feel you will be unable to obtain is extremely selfish. There is no reason to deny someone a way to show off their hard work when it benefits them in no tangible way. Runescape never has operated on communist principles. If the only real accomplishments are those that are effortless and common, what is the point in playing the game at all?

In before they make 99 skill capes f2p like they did with veteran cape, but serially I do not care of have or ever see a 120 cape. I would mind having a special emotes for 120/200ms . This is only going to  give more people reason of getting 120/200m cooking

how many even still wear skill capes really ?

So you 'seriously' don't care if they make capes for 120 but wouldn't mind an emote... I see more people wearing capes than I do emotes, plus people can see capes you're wearing all the time. I don't fancy constantly doing and emote I'd get bored of lol.
