My name is DJ/Dee-jay I don't mind how you spell it, everyone tends to spell it their own way. I'm 23 from Texas. I love post-hardcore or music from the 60's & 70's. Working on my truck (muscle truck) is one of my biggest passions and playing rs is a fun hobby. I play off and on due to work nothing like I use to, but when I do play I'm usually like to pvm so if that's your thing let me know if you need a +1. I'm a w25 regular and been looking for a clan since I left my old pvm clan and quit rs a year ago, so why not join a popular w25 clan.

This is the best picture I have of it right now. It's a 1965 c10. I'm building it to be a "sleeper" drag truck which is basically a drag truck that looks like a normal Grandpa's old truck that will kick your ass in a race  . It has a 383 sbc holley 750 carb with 2 kits of NOS that I have yet to put in. It also has a comp 288 extreme cam, with aluminum heads, long headers and roller rockers all connected to a turbo 400 3 speed transmission and stage 2 shift kit. Mini tub in the rear with posi that I have not yet finished building and a roll cage that I need to make but hide really well lol Basically the truck is drive-able as is until I finish getting everything ready so I can put it all in at once. Minus the block and tranny. Rims and tires (15x7 Front 15x10 rear rallies) will change as well. Going with some nice fat street slicks in the rear. I also have a 1970 Chevelle SS in the garage at my parents house, but that is just a cruiser. 327 SBC 600 edelbrock carb, mild cam, stock heads, shorty headers, 7004r tranny mini tubbed. Both have flowmaster 10 series mufflers.

That's not bad at all! Should put out pretty well. I have a buddy who's looking for a project just like yours. The cage should be easy enough if you run it along the pillars and cover it. Do you weld yourself? I think the 10" rears might give away the fact that it's a sleeper, but you might as well put a small gap in the hood for some better air flow while you're at it! What color will you paint it?

I get the whole "sleeper" thing, though. I'm helping a friend who for some odd reason is building an engine and re-doing the tranny on his '86 Grand Marquis (something about it being his first car). As for mine, I won't be doing anywhere near the overhaul you are as I already admire what Chevy did with the gen 5 Camaro. Probably some CEI, new cat-back exhaust and the rest might be purely based around aesthetics.  But time will tell!
