It is not uncommon for members of Consentus to write somewhat dramatic leaving threads, and then return in such a short space of time, sometimes visiting only to post spiteful and generally negative comments about the clan. The Former Member rank and a few other rules aim to change this and hopefully make people consider whether they really want to 'leave'.
Here are a few important points which you need to know about the rank:
If you make a leaving thread, you have 48 hours to finalise your decision. You may retract your decision to leave Consentus during this time period.
After 48 hours have passed and you have still decided to leave us, you will be given the Former Member rank.
This new rank will have no posting rights and no access to the shoutbox and you will be only able to read the public forum. If you wish to reapply you will have to contact a member of Staff via PM.
There is a re-application period of 30 days after you have written a leaving thread, you may not apply for Consentus membership until that time has elapsed. More information of which can be found here.
After 3 months have passed (from the date on your written leaving thread), and you haven't reapplied or visited us, your forum account will be deleted entirely but posts and topics will be retained.
You will recieve a PM from a member of Staff if you are made a Former Member, with your date of re-application and account deletion personal to your own situation.
