A bit about myself

I'm Alec/Sween. Hello!

I'll just throw some bits about myself to you and hope something lands.

I'm 23, and I've recently graduated with a degree in English & Politics.

I made my first RuneScape account in 2004, and I've always been active within the clanning community, particularly the PvP-side (member of Natural Born Killers, The British Elites, and leader of Remedy).

I'm a sucker for MMOs and have been ever since my uncle showed me Ultima Online at the age of 7. Living with a huge table-top gaming nerd whilst at University kindled a love for Magic the Gathering and other table-top games (Netrunner is bae).

Outside of gaming I'm big into rugby and fitness. I'm an avid traveller. Brazil and Thailand are next up for me this year.

At the moment I'm playing on a brand new account. Level 38 Combat, whaaat. The truth is that during University I stopped playing RuneScape as much.

I returned to play Old School, hit a wall, and I thought I'd spend time getting acquainted with the main game. It's incredibly daunting to begin again.

Welcome! Interesting choice of study, I think you're the first person I meet who has actually studied politics. I used to be pretty disinterested until I studied some macro economics

Like Red said, interesting to see someone who's studied politics. Absolutely love talking about it (in America that is) but I don't know if I could handle it enough to study it lol. Nice intro.

If you don't have so much free time I recommend going to oldschool as the content you will be familiar with and genenerally, in my opinion, is the better game (especially for nostalgia reasons).

I was only studying English until I had to do some research into micro economics for an essay I wrote which kickstarted my interest in politics. Managed to adjust my degree accordingly.
