Team Red Event - Shifting Tombs
ALL ACCOUNT TYPES WELCOME
Hello Consentus! With the recent release of Menaphos and everything incorporated in it, Team Red will be hosting a Shifting Tombs event within Menaphos on Thursday, June 15 at 5:00 game time (1:00pm est) in World 25.
DETAILS:
-Shifting Tombs is 100% skiller friendly, so all clan members are welcome to join.
-Shifting Tombs is played in 5 minute timed games with the most rewards given if completed within the timeframe.
-Shifting Tombs is within Menaphos and therefore requires the following quests to play:
1. Stolen Hearts
2. Diamond in the Rough
3. The Jack of Spades
Shifting Tombs is played either solo, with 5 random others, or within a controlled group using the Group Interface within RuneScape.
Depending on the amount of players that decide to participate, we'll be using the Group Interface for controlled groups.
If more than 5 people wish to participate, another group leader will be chosen to create another group of 5 and so on.
(Using the Group Interface is easy to learn if you've never used it before.)
One can choose to receive experience in the following skills while doing Shifting Tombs:
-Thieving
-Runecrafting
-Construction
-Crafting
-Dungeoneering
-Divination
-Agility
-Prayer
The way experience is chosen is by toggling a scabaras statue in the tunnels that is directed at a primary skill.
This is the skill you will get experience from by smashing urns inside the game as well as with an experience drop at the end of the run.
If you choose to, you can light a brazier in front of a statue as well, allowing you to gain experience in a secondary skill along with the primary, but removing some from the primary.
The skills in the same color above are the ones close to each other while the bold skill is the primary skill. You DO NOT have to match the statue with the brazier in front.
Skillers would want to avoid lighting the brazier in front of the Agility statue to avoid combat experience from Prayer, but the Agility statue as well as every other aspect is skiller friendly.
If anyone has any questions about the event or how to play Shifting Tombs, feel free to post here or message me on here or in-game.
Also, if anyone wants to practice or play a few rounds to get the hang of it before the event,
feel free to get ahold of me and I'll be happy to walk you through!
