sets up unnecessary boundaries within the clan, the hierarchy is already a problem imo because you've already known each other for ages.. Most of the non "staff" won't take it seriously anyway, seems like a terrible idea to me

Thats a really interesting point of you, thanks for sharing it.

I think it may bring the newer players into the clan more.

Firstly, don't be patronising, secondly, I doubt it, although if you could explain logically it might help

The problems:
The "staff" (although I hate that word) are all pretty tightly knit as it is, why would making them oppose the newer members be any help whatsoever
You're telling people what to train, whereas I see why you're doing, newer members in particular may be put off by being coersed into doing a skill they perhaps wouldn't be thinking of at that time

What I would do:
Ask people who actually want to take part
Split the staff up half and half, that way it integrates the new people with the people who've been in the clan longer, encourages them to interact, ask for help etc.
Make a list of skills, and then allow people to choose which ones they want to do, and then try and balance the exp rates as best as possible on each team.

No one is being forced to do anything they don't want to. This event is entirely open, you don't have to participate hence why we have asked for suggestions.

Can I assure you I was not patronise you in the slightest, this is for suggestions as nothing is set in stone.

I voted 1 week, seems reasonable, as for September, well I begin my first year of college, I don't know if I'd even be available. Anytime before the end of August would be best for me, as I'm on summer break...but give me a date and I'll see what I can do :3

Also, I'd rather have overall xp - I can't even stand an hour of the same skill... EXCEPT THIEVING if they'd fix it already @@@@  :laser:

me vs mathi agiling lets go bbe :P

personally, i have no idea at all of the amount of time i will be on with college in sept, it is likely to be absolute madness
larger may be good for overall personally i think in light of situation.
shorter would disadvantage a lot in a few ways.

7 days training 3 selected skills with average xp/7days in each. Whoever wins 2/3 wins.

If this is going to happen mid-late september, count me in Dec. ;)
