Staff members don't necessarily have more experience over the members.

However,
If I count as a member,
Count me in.

Unsure if we are allowing buyables, so here are my choices.

Buyable: Cooking
Non-buyable: Fishing

Depends on how soon this will be.

If its before I finish with 99 smithing, then I'll do Smithing.
If I feel like its not worth training smithing for it (due to time) then Dungeoneering is my first choice  ;D

We need more members brave enough to take on the staff

I think outstanding should be classed as members. >:D
