I really don't agree with Warbands being allowed, the difference between using them at a high level (99 / 363k xp) and using them at a lower level (80 / 237k xp) is pretty huge.

Furthermore, not everyone can do (or does do) warbands, and even those who don't can buy the supplies and literally buy the xp.

Whilst someone doing WB's only gains ~2 hours on someone Mining (for example), it's still a pretty big gain for literally no work.

(And it's super unfair for any F2Per's taking part.)

The fact that assuming people don't cheat in a friendly competition is enough.

You assume that people won't buy spins, but because it's hard to check if they did it 'sneakily' enough, we should allow spin buying, right?

Yes its super unfair then some people have advantages with warbands, but at the same time everyone can do them.

You literally said the entire point, even then, not everyone can do warbands for various reasons (F2P, can't get on at wave times or just don't like doing them).

It's a lot of xp, that makes a stupid advantage for those who do warbands, and would ruin the integrity of the entire war if a Clan won purely because that clans members did warbands and the other Clan's didn't.

Read.

That and you don't even have to take part in looting for supplies, you can buy them off of people for gp, which would make it a buyable.

The fact that assuming people don't cheat in a friendly competition is enough.

You assume that people won't buy spins, but because it's hard to check if they did it 'sneakily' enough, we should allow spin buying, right?

Some people have a lot of "pixel pride" and would do anything to win, including doing warbands when they are not allowed. If their pixel pride consists of spending real life money on spins then that's up to them. o.o + can use the same argument that members have living rock caverns and f2p do not. Someone with 95 divination can use that spot while someone with 80 can not.

No, that's not the point - at all.

Differences between level and training locations are always going to be an unavoidable thing. The fact that doing a D&D gives such large amounts of xp, that not everyone can do is the problem.

Furthermore, just because it's hard to monitor doesn't mean you just allow it, you have to assume that people are honest, or you're simply wasting your time with skill wars in the first place.

If WB's are banned, and people do them anyway, then they'll know that they're cheating. Same as if someone buys spins, you can't really do anything to stop them, doesn't mean you remove it from being a rule.

Then again some people do have pixel pride and regularly buy spins anyway to max out faster, as well as other various things like Account Sharing but, hey, because that would be hard to monitor we should allow that too. Huh.

Perhaps you should read this for trying to work out my argument here.

If you're trying to block war-bands you should prepare for trouble Meg, from both clans so make it double.
Allowing war-bands is to protect this event from devastation, and unite all peoples within our clans,
to denounce the evils of war and bands, and extend our reach to greater EXP potential. ^^

Divine yew locations aren't a D&D.
And PP is technically a minigame.

Even then, none of those other than warbands (divine yew locations sure, but it's up to a max of like 20k wc xp/day or similar) have the best xp rates available, PP is the closest, but I believe Dwarf traders have a higher maximum xp/h.

FF is the same speed essentially as fly-fishing, and c2 is a lot faster
Big Chin isn't particularly good xp/h at all so just isn't relevant, lol.

The point isn't that it's just a D&D, it's that it gives a stupid amount of xp for almost no time, if you were to work everything that you said into xp/h terms it would be roughly;
Big Chin ~180k/h
Warbands ~1.7m/h
FF ~110k/h
Divine yews (limited to small amount but even so) ~250k/h  (roughly?)
PP max of 300k/h or so with SOTG.

You simply can't understand what I'm saying..

I'm saying you don't have to monitor warbands, you should assume people don't do it, and ban it from the skillwar, or, if people do it because they want to warband their skill, they post and report the xp they gain from it to be removed.

I don't know why I bother getting into with discussions with people who can't read what I say, it's such a waste of time.

>C2 is luck if you're bad
>Because dwarf traders and pp are same amount of effort?
>If you get 50k woodcut from 1 divine spot and your tree lasts for 5 & you get *50k* xp  you must be a god. Wtf

Rip in peace.

Actually its only a debate over warbands, but if you simply cannot have a discussion about it then I won't bother.
I myself believe in healthy debate and that it's good compared to having slight arguments over nothing.
From the start I said you have to believe in honesty..

You have to believe in honesty, wouldn't it just be fair to say if your caught cheating then your going to be punished with not being able to EVER enter any competitions again.

I don't go for pixel pride at all, on the current top skiller gains daily/weekly/monthly posted by Bradfordly I should have a lot more than I do. Also Level IIIs invited me to a friendly weekend xp competition and on this weekend I bought a few spins to use the prismania promotion and I messaged him telling him to remove me as I did :)

If I had pixel pride I am sure I'd get much more by not opting out of the competition and getting much more xp than all of them, but the xp I did gain was essentially "cheated" so I asked them to remove me + I'd have my name by more skiller xp records, but I decided against it and even asked for myself to be removed from certain ones as the gains recorded were not accurate and to my understanding the gains he put down were actually lower than what I'd actually gained. I "brag" about things as a joke to my friends only, I have so much I could possible brag about to get more pixel pride out of myself but I don't.

Nice pride. I don't have to brag about things like this. How does one even determine who is the "biggest no lifer"

Ah, I'm only replying now, because these posts are going to get deleted later anyway.

It's definitely interesting to know that I hit a nerve so easily, good to note. The fact that you're so willing to defend yourself so quickly to such a small comment perhaps shows that you do care far more than you seem to think you show.

Quite frankly, don't deny you've bought a lot of spins. I won't believe you. I also wouldn't be surprised if you've broken other Jagex rules in the past.

The signatures, ah, you have a similar-ish signature yourself, friend. If I was to win those awards (which I did), and not use them, it would feel disrespectful, they're in the spoiler so that they are out of the way.

There's no need for your arrogance, here Stee.  For some reason you remind me a lot of Liam, I didn't like him long before everyone else, and he ended up botting and scamming one of his good friends, but hey-ho.

Dreekz, you've been in Consentus for how long? In that time I don't think you've ever done something positive for the clan, in any way. Even when you join the CC rarely, it's almost always to troll someone or other, regardless of that, I always find people trying to troll with their friends highly amusing especially when it's done so badly.

If you want to continue this discussion, please, don't.
