We always seems to have skill wars with the same clans over and over. I wondered how we would fair with another clan, not a skilling clan tho.
Heavens Fallen is mainly based on w46 and is run by Kaiser Angel, they are approx the same size as us. And really nice. Also Skillers of Honor are joining this skill war. :D
Starts: 30th September, Midnight GMT.
Ends: 6th October, Midnight GMT.
Only 2 per team, PLEASE only sign up if you are serious.

Been like 4 days and no one seems to know who it is, so if I could please be switched to Woodcutting that would be great.
I think I would play more and gain better experience for WC.
Also I don't really see the point in letting a 'member' who doesn't have the skill ranked compete in the skillwar nor are they active within the clan.

Ok about the Sure-Footed Auras, I think it shouldn't be allowed, since not everyone would have bought it, so it's a bit of an unfair advantage. And it was stated as not allowed on our site since the beginning of the planning of the event lol.. I don't want to change that as well.

Lol... yes Mel, I know you as Lady Spyra, <3 you're on my fl, but darned if I can remember how we met and what was your name when we met lol.. :p
Anyway, can we just say Sure footed auras not allowed lol.. because I put it out there in our forums quite some time back thinking it wouldn't be allowed lol :p
One more thing Lilly, I have one or two reserve people in case some of them don't turn up because I haven't seen them in game of late either.

By the way, I think on Runetrack when it says 1st October it means the midnight of Friday and the start of Saturday, and I noticed it ends on the 6th which means the midnight of Wed the 5th and the start of Thursday the 6th.
We had agreed on doing it right through the whole of the 7th, Friday right up till midnight to make it exactly a week, and I don't think the clan likes the idea of the change right when the competition is going on, besides we're also entering them in our own clan skill cup run which runs exactly a week, so that kind of derails it.
Could we then make another tracker for the whole of Friday the 7th 12 midnight to 11:59pm and add the xp up to make it exactly a week?

I don't think you can change the dates on the trackers.
Could just take the exp from the start of war (on the current trackers) and compare the start exp with ending exp via highscores.

I know, that is well and good for our own cup run, but then it's not what was agreed upon prior to the start of the competition so that might be unfair to all the competitors.
Wouldn't be hard to make another tracker just for the last day. And add all the total xp.

I'm inclined to agree with Lie and say that everyone has signed up for 7 days prior to the start of the competition and it shouldn't be changed at the last minute while it is running. Most people would have planned out their own schedule for this and everyone has a different way of skilling, just like in a marathon, some people like to begin taking the lead and maintain the momentum to win, others like to stay near the middle and then spurt up near the end.
So it wouldn't be fair to tell them, no, your rank is now 50 out of 100, because we've decided on the 5th mile to cut short the route by a mile and you've hit the finishing line right now. :p

Think they stuffed up once when I was in a skillwar and then they were fixed within no time.
The tracker has been down for like 12 hours now though, so I'll be pissed if I lose my exp. ._.

Well it seems the trackers are back working again, so that's good. :)
There is just the small question of how we will decide the winner of the skillwar? I was thinking we could add up all the xp from the 3 skills for each clan. The clan with the most overall xp will win.

Yeah, that sounds great we could lay it out like you suggest. :)

Or we could give points to the contestants for each team, hence 1st place would be like 6 points, right down to 6th place with 1 point. And points awarded in the same way for the other two skills, so the clan with the most points win overall, and we also have the winners for each skill as Mel said. :)
Just another possible suggestion.

Wow, I speak from the heart when I say... Consentus and Heavens Fallen, you both gave us in SoH a run for our money :P Very competitively challenging opponents. I'm amazed. You guys made me train agility hardcore. Since I was only 18k from 17m agil exp at the end of the contest, I went ahead and got it, so YAY for that! :D
