I definitely see where you're coming from Allie, it's a shame that people pull out of a skill war once they find out what it is. At the same time, I think we need to understand that not everybody plays the game in the same way, Meg had said that if the skill didn't tie in with her maxing then she wasn't interested so fair enough.
Maybe we need to consider periodically changing the format of the skill war to stop dissapointments like this in the future? Sometimes it's nice to have the vote and other times it's maybe nice to hold a pre-specified event?
Unfortunately, you can't please all of the people all of the time but I'm sure we'll have a fun weekend of skilling anyway!
