Future PvM Events
« on: June 03, 2013, 23:05:15 »
Hello everyone

As we all know, a lot of us are busy with exams, and exams requires a lot of work, and this also applies to myself.
Seeing as I have been given the role to plan and host the future PvM events, i am sorry to say that it won't be until
my exams are finally over, which is around the 29th of June, that i will start planning these.

But in the meantime i would like those who think they will be attending these events to post your suggestions for
what we could do as a clan. And i would like to add that it doesn't necessarily have to be bosses such as The Kalphite King
Nex, Corporeal Beast etc, but we could also do the God wars bosses, Kalphite Queen, King Black Dragon and even visit
regular the Dagganoth Kings.

Andrew suggested to visit the new slayer dungeon and have a go at that, but as it seems now, it might be task required,
and personally i would like to wait and gather some knowledge on how fight these new creatures, and eventually plan
an event for the clan, of course only if it is not task required.

So please post your suggestions

Thank you very much

You have to take into consideration that most of the combaters aren't max, such as myself. The last event, I didn't attend mainly because I don't think I'm ready for corp beast. God wars may be a good place to start with PvM, because it's so easy, specially with a huge team. Of course, with a big team at godwars, drops won't be so grand, but it's a good stepping stone for people like me.

In end content games, like World of Warcraft, you don't just jump into the highest boss possible. You slowly go through the raids, and eventually get better and learn your how safe, or how much overextended you can be, etc.

Most of us combaters are just failed skillers who haven't bossed yet. Or maybe I'm just a noob who thinks every boss is too hard, just because I've only done god wars. :P

My exams end tomorrow

Also, out of all Runescape bosses, I found Kalphite King to be the most fun.

Plenty of 'skill' required to 3man duo it, but it'll be fun for those who want to give the Kalphite King a try, but couldn't find a team

and who knows, maybe we'll get a nice drop!?  :D

NOTE: Also Kalphite King gives 12k Slayer xp per kill                                 !!!

Nex is also another option, but frozen key pieces will have to be found prior to the event ^^

There are no requirements of certain combat stats to have fun ;)

Raw fish can now only be removed from a tackle box through a bank. The tackle box also has a new ability: you can teleport an amount of raw fish per day, directly from it to the bank. Finally, the tackle box now has options to deposit raw fish from it straight into the bank, and to empty raw fish into the inventory when viewing the bank interface.

Will need to adjust my kk setup. Not sure why they did this nerf. Takes a minimum of 42 hrs to get chmp one
