Hello everyone

So basically this event will be about paying a visit to our dearest and most friendly friend the Corporeal Beast!
I hope that we got a good bunch of nubs together so we can have some fun, perhaps get on Skype to make it a bit more fun

Requirements:

The completion of Summers' End quest is the only requirement for being able to enter the Corporeal Beast cave.
Although it is suggested to have fairly high combat stats, preferably 80+

Helm: Sea singer's hood > Virtus mask > Ganodermic visor > Hood of Subjugation/Ahrim's Hood > Battle hood
Body: Tetsu body > Torva platebody > Bandos chestplate/Melee Barrows chest
Legs: Tetsu legs > Torva platelegs > Bandos tassets/Melee Barrows legs
Weapon: Vesta's spear > Zamorakian spear
Boots: Ragefire boots > Virtus boots > Ganodermic boots > Spined boots/Dragon boots
Ring: Sixth-age circuit > Warrior Ring (i)  > Warrior Ring > Berserker Ring
Gloves: Royal spiky vambraces >Culinaromancer's Gloves 10
Amulet: Saradomin's whisper > Amulet of fury > Amulet of glory
Aura: Vampyrism /Penance /Reverence
Cape: Completionist cape > Max cape > Skill capes

Rest of inventory is filled with Sharks/Rocktails.



Strategy:

The best way to deal with the corporeal beast is to get one person in the team to be the tank. This is done by the tank using Incite/Provoke while the rest of the team has incite turned off and does not use Provoke. I have chosen to be the tank at this event, as it will be easier for everyone else.
Everyone else in the team uses melee and a zamorakian spear, or dharoks. Void equipment is useful, as with incite players will only be receiving a few hits as the corporeal beast focuses on the tank. If using dharoks, players should stand under the beast and get trampled to low health. Having a health of around 2k should be good enough. These players should also bring adrenaline potions if they can make them. They use abilities (without using the adrenaline potion) to activate berserk(ultimate ability that doubles all damage done and received for 20 seconds), before quickly drinking the adrenaline potion and spamming basic abilities until they can use assault, which unloads huge amount of damage, If you keep using your basic abilities and within the 20 secs reach to an ultimate, take use of Owerpower, this ultimate deals a lot of damage on corp. This way they can unload a massive amount of damage upon the corp. The best way to deal with the core is to simply dodge it, this is done by taking 2 steps away from it and it will hop to another target, but if it does follow you, simply step away 2 steps again. The core can be killed, but you will be taking some damage from the core and thus healing the Corporeal Beast. Although this damage is not that much.

Abilities:


This is the ability bar that you can take use for at the event, it is rather good as its filled with fairly many basic attacks to quickly raise the adrenaline bar, 2 threshold abilities, assault and quake, first one is for damage and second one can lower the defense of Corp. And then there is the two Ultimates, Berserker and Overpower, and first one is preferred, but second one can be used in case the cool down from Berserker is not down yet or you are still in effect of Berserker ultimate. Regenerate can be used if you have remaining adrenaline when you are done with the kill, Anticipation will also raise your adrenaline bar and will for 10 secs lower your received damage by 10%. At last we have Rejuvinate, IF you have 100% adrenaline when the kill is over you can take use of this Ultimate and it will heal you 40% of your max hp.

Rules:

If any that attends the event happens to die because of net failure or any other reason and does not come back in time to pick up their items, rest of the team will pick up their items and return all of it to the rightful owner. If anyone should happen to keep items that do not belong to them, it will be classified as scamming and thus leading to a ban from Consentus.

I'm not the best at PvM but I may come along on the journey. Haven't really been to Corp since EoC and it'll be a nice change of pace for me. This is, assuming I'm actually online at the time.

i think navid is going to "attempt" to "teach me" to kill corp
"teaching me to stay alive" lesson should come first though
