August Skill War!

Starting on Friday 31 July thru 3 August, will be the next interclan skill war!

For the next 5 days, we will be voting for the skills we want to do for said war.

You have up to 3 choices or you can just choose 1. Completely up to you.

We will have 2 teams divided randomly.

That's it! Nothing more to say ... yet.

how come its only ever non-buyable skills?

also the 3 skills currently winning the votes, are the 3 that we did for last skill war. Shouldnt they be took out of the voting to add more variety?

It's the easiest way to guarantee fairness and stops people gaining an unfair advantage. If you have 1b to blow on herblore while someone on the other team is brokeback mountain, its not very fair

I voted hunter / thieving / divination. For the simple reason that i'm currently 99 in them all, i'm saving the other skills for the spam event so can't train them too much.

i get that but then again, its like a lvl 3 complaining they cant do combat updates that jagex brings out.

I get what you are saying but on the same side of the coin you have people which stack bxp. This could give a massive advantage for any slower/non-buyable skill in the same way that a cash stack would give an innate advantage to having a buyable skill in the war.
I get the logic behind it but I think if people are voting for the skill then it is going to be something they'll be training to the best of their abilities/with all they've got (within reason)

That being said - dxp is coming, who wants to do buyables before that lol
