It really only has one mechanic, after that its just a hit fight 
But you need a decent amount of people
It's actually pretty tactical.
What is needed is Bloodfire Burst, magic gear, Rocktails overloads all that stuff... but the main thing is the green goop.
Another team mate needs to provoke it so it doesn't eat the gooped player or else it's an insta-kill.
With a decent amount of people it's rather easy.
