Now what is Ventrilo you may ask? In simple terms it's paid skype but let me explain. You don't pay anything I do. For anyone who joins my server its free as the air around you.
How do join?
Step 1. Download Ventrilo. Now depending on your OS, Be it Mac Pc you need to find the download and program for each said os.
Which download you pick is at your own choice. If you can't tell if you have a 64 bit computer its best to just go with the 32 bit version. (32 bit programs will run on a 64bit but not the other way around.)
Step 2. Install. I think there isn't a need for a picture for this but just follow the instructions on screen just as you would for a basic install of any program.
Step 3. Making your Name and adding a server to connect to.
After install you should see something like this when you launch ventrilo. (Ignore where it saids uruk and Mine for you it will be None.)
To make your username (which is what everyone will see you as while in ventrilo) Click the ->
After that a Window will open
From there click "New"
When you click new a window will open asking for a Name
After picking your name click ok and you should come back to the "Setup User window." From there click "Ok"
Now that you have a name set up for Ventilo, you need to add the server which your connecting to.
that is done by clicking the "->" across from server as seen in the picture
Once clicked a window will open.
Click where it saids new and a Window asks for a name. This is Irrevlant name it what ever you wish. For the example of this I'll name it Iuro's Ventrilo.
Once named click OK and you go back to the previous window but every isn't greyed out.
Now there is where you enter the Server info.
Hostname or ip: Chi3.ugt-servers.com Port: 22771
After this click ok and you should be put back to the main ventrilo screen.
ALMOST DONE!!!
There are some more steps but as problems arise i'll go into detail about them.
Setting a push to talk buttion and General set up.
With ventrilo open click setup
When in setup make sure everything that is click and unclicked in the following picture is.

Then click ok. Also your hot key for push to talk doesn't need to be Left Ctrl it can be anything you want.
