Mousekeys guide
« on: April 01, 2014, 20:34:03 »
Hey everyone,

On request my mousekeys guide:

Are mousekeys allowed on RuneScape?
-Yes, mousekeys are unconfirmed allowed on RuneScape, the reason for mousekeys being legit is this rule: 1 input = 1 output. Mousekeys do this exact same thing, however the doubleklick does not. There is a lot of speculation about this, but even the highest ranked members use the doubleklick (on videos) and openly admit this. There where 0 reports so far by people getting banned or whatsoever by using mousekeys in RuneScape.

Setting up mousekeys:

Step 1: Press SHIFT & ALT -and hold them, on the left side of your keyboard- While holding down SHIFT and ALT press NUMLOCK.
A screen should now show asking you to activate mousekeys. Dont press yes, press the blue line instead. A screen will now open and look like this:
Please note that im Dutch and the letters will obviously be diffrent.

Step 2: I will now show you the settings you should copy from me, and explain you whats etting changes what.
             Copy these settings:
Make sure to hit the apply button (in my case "toepassen") after editing any of the options.
Every option should be copied, please note that all you have to change to change anything about mousekeys are these settings:
Setting 1: the most up slide bar: if you move this bar from the LEFT to the RIGHT the amount your mouse will JUMP INCREASES. Slide this bar to whatever position you need for your          runescape goal.
Setting 2: This bar is totaly useless when using mousekeys with RuneScape, if you move this bar from the left to the right, the amount it jumps will increase if you HOLD the key to move your mouse, with RuneScape we "jump" this means we press the key, and we move once, we dont hold it to move huge distances. This option can be left at whatever it is, it doesnt matter, we dont use it.
Setting 3: This should always be on, this allows us to increase the jump the mouse makes by pressing another key. Turn this on.

Step 3: Hit apply and leave the screen open for future use, you can close it if you want to, but i prefer to have it open so i dont have to re-open it to adjust the jumper distance.

Step 4: press SHIFT 5 times rapidly, a screen should now pop up. press the BLUE letters again you will now see this: all you have to do here is check the first box like so: Make sure to press apply once again!

Step 5: i highly recomend that you turn on your sound for this. Press your CTRL key 2 times, you will hear the same bleep 2 times, your ctrl key is now "stuck" and is always activated. Please do not use any other ctrl shift "etc commands, this will disable the sticky keys and you'r ctrl key wont be "stuck" anymore. However, if you did so, press shift 5 times and press yes again.

Step 6: you should have pressed ctrl 2 times and heard the bleep 2 times, this is good. Now disable your numpad by pressing the numlock key. Now move your mouse with these keys:

7 8 9
4    6
1 2 3

These keys stand for the direction your mouse will move towards, please make sure to press them once at a time, and dont hold them.

Press 5 to klick your mouse, press + to doubleklick.

You are now done with mousekeys, please read below if you want to change any of the current settings:

Problemfixer:
My mouse doesnt klick left once when i press 5:
hit the / on your numpad, this will set your 5 and + to leftklick only
if you hit the * it will rightklick
if you hit the - it will left, then right klick at the same time.

Always use / for RuneScape

My mouse jumps too far or should be jumping further:
go to the mousekeys inferface and adjust the first bar, right is further, left is closer.

Goodluck, feel free to pm for any questions.

They should get bigger if you click on them, can you test this? It works for me.
