Google Chrome has had an update recently, which includes a new bookmark called 'Apps'.
It can't be removed or hidden by right clicking it, or changing bookmark settings.
It looks like this:

To remove it, create a new tab, and in the address bar, type in "chrome://flags" and press enter.
You should be on a page that looks like this:

Hold down ctrl and press F (this will open up the find function) and type in "Extended API"

Where it says "Enable Instant Extended API Mac, Windows, Chrome OS" change it to "Enabled"

Then relaunch Chrome, and the Apps bookmark will be gone.
Hope you find this useful if the Apps bookmark bothered you.
