How to get the old YouTube layout

Step 1) Go to the Youtube homepage
Step 2) Right click and select 'Inspect Element' (Or press ctrl, shift + J)
Step 3) Paste this in to the box: document.cookie="VISITOR_INFO1_LIVE=qDpUsBNO0FY; expires=Thu, 2 Aug 2020 20:47:11 UTC"
Step 4) Press Enter
Step 5) Refrsh and rejoice


If you are in Firefox, press Ctrl, shift + K (Instead of J)

This worked on my desktop when I wasn't logged in, but didn't on my laptop when I was logged in. I think its dependant on the user account whether you can do it or not. So hope you get lucky :P

Should add that it only works for me when I'm not signed in on my main Youtube account. But works fine when signed out.

Where are you supposed to paste it (like where inside the box) and how? It doesn't give me a paste option.

Ctrl + v

You shouldn't have to click in the box, just paste it straight in
