Herblore Habitat is a hunter area which includes aspects of Farming and Herblore in it. Everything obtained here is used here, with the exception of the resulting potions you can make.
Location, location, location
Herblore Habitat is located on Karamja Island, at the very south-eastern point.
Quick methods of getting there include the Juju teleport spiritbag (obtainable from Grand Exchange), running east and south from Shilo Village, running south from Karamja Glider or using your Witchdoctor mask to teleport there.
Herblore Habitat is divided into 4 main areas: North (where you teleport to), Center (where all the Farming patches are), South (where the majority of Jadinko's are caught) and the God Island (where God Jadinko's are caught). There is also another vine herb patch on the god island. To get there climb up the vines on the east of the southern section.
Pama Mambo
Upon arrival you will see this delightful character busy dancing away. This witchdoctor sells you everything you need to get started with Herblore Habitat, and also later will give you pieces of Witchdoctor clothing if you hunt at least one of each Jadinko.
Construction
Construction at Herblore Habitat requires no materials, no tools, and gives no experience. You can assist if you do not meet the level required, or you can choose to pay Papa Mambo to build you the habitat. However it costs 10k multiplied by the level required if you choose that route.

Farming
There are four different kinds of seeds which can be planted at Herblore Habitat. Mainly Fruit Trees, Vine Flowers, Vine Herbs and Vine Bushes. Each of these is used to attract different Jadinko's, depending on which combination you have planted. Plants can be dug up using a spade if not fully grown to make room for a different type to be planted.
Vine Flowers
There are three different colours of Vine Flowers - red, blue and green. These seeds are the only ones that can be bought from Papa Mambo.
54 Farming is required to plant these, giving 52 experience, and they give a rather shocking 255 Farming experience if harvested. Growth time is approximately 15-20 minutes.
Vine Bush
There are two different types of Vine Bushes. These grow a harvest of 4 berries, which will slowly replenish if picked.
Lergberry
Requires 61 Farming to plant, giving 145.5 experience. Checking the health of the grown bush gives you 236.3 experience and harvesting the berries a further 31.5 experience per berry.
Kalferberry
Requires 77 Farming to plant, giving 220.2 experience. Checking the health of the grown bush gives you 375.3 experience and harvesting the berries a further 31.5 experience per berry.
Vine Herbs
There are five different herbs that can be grown here, although only 3 are really of much use. Remember there are two herb patches, one in the central area and one on the god island.
Erzille
Requires 58 Farming to plant, giving 87 experience. Each herb harvested gives 87 experience.
Argway
Requires 65 Farming to plant, giving 110 experience. Each herb harvested gives 125 experience.
Ugune
Requires 70 Farming to plant, giving 136 experience. Each herb harvested gives 152 experience.
Shengo
Requires 76 Farming to plant, giving 140.5 experience. Each herb harvested gives 160 experience.
Samaden
Requires 80 Farming to plant, giving 170 experience. Each herb harvested gives 190 experience.

Hunting
There are also two different types of tracking at Herblore Habitat, Tracking and Box-trapping.
Tracking
Three of the ten Jadinko's are tracked. This means you will need a noose wand which can be bought from Papa Mambo. Once you have planted the correct combination of farming patches, head south over the vine. Equip your noose wand and simply follow the steps below. They are the same for each of the trackable Jadinko's.
*Each Jadinko takes approximately 35 seconds to track, and you may fail at catching them
Box-trapping
The most common form of hunting. You will need some Marasmaw plants which can be bought from Papa Mambo. These work the same way as box-traps, so simply lay them down near some Jadinko's and pick them up once you've caught some.
Attracting
So with all this talk of attracting Jadinko's, lets have a look at how to actually do it.
To hunt Jadinko's you first need to attract them to the area. This is done by planting the correct plants and building the right Construction habitat for the Jadinko you want. Each Jadinko has a unique combination of these 4 elements (herbs play no part in attracting Jadinko's). Below are all the combinations for the normal Jadinko's. Once you have attracted them before, there is a handy NPC called Astlayrix who will remind you of combinations. He is found wandering around the Central area.
Warding off
Most often used to get rid of Common Jadinko's so you can purely hunt Draconic ones. As well as attracting Jadinko's, you can also ask Papa Mambo to ward them off. This is done with Stripey Vines (tracked from Camouflaged Jadinko's). Each vine will give you 15 minutes of freedom from the Jadinko you select.
God Jadinko's
Above are all the normal-type Jadinko's and their combinations. These don't change, but there are another three god-type Jadinko's which have a different combination each week. This combination is also unique to each player, so there is no way of knowing it beforehand.
God Jadinko's are found on the God Island, to the east. To get there cross the vine from the Southern hunting area (you may fail here even with high Agility, but no damage is taken).
Zamorak, Guthix and Saradomin Jadinko's require 81 Hunter to hunt and each gives 600 experience per catch. A hunter potion is also required. These drop Zamorak, Guthix and Saradomin Vines respectively and a chance at all seed types.
So if each one has a different combination each week, how do you work them out? As soon as you have two or more of the correct things planted/built (and are under the effects of a Juju Hunter potion), a message will appear telling you how many are correct. Although it wont tell you which ones are correct, it is easy enough to work out through trial and error.
Here are a few things you might want to remember:
• Each type of God Jadinko will have its own colour Vine Flower.
• The Fruit tree for each of the God Jadinko's will be the same for that week.
• You might need an empty Vine Bush patch, or an empty Construction hotspot in order to attract a god Jadinko.
To start off, plant a Vine Flower and use a Juju Hunter potion on it. The next easiest thing to work out is the Construction habitat. Simply cycle through them all, until you receive a message saying you have the correct one. Sometimes this message may be slightly delayed, so its best to wait a few seconds after each type. Once you get a message saying you have correct parts to attracting a god Jadinko, you know that your Vine Flower and Construction spot are correct.
I find the next easiest is to quickly figure out which fruit tree I have for the week. Plant an apple, banana or orange tree and cycle through these until you receive a message saying you have 3 correct combinations. Obviously this leaves the bush, so unless you attracted the Jadinko with whatever is planted, dig it up. Wait a few seconds in case the Jadinko requires an empty bush patch. If not, plant the other bush and you should have attracted one of your god Jadinko's.
With that in mind, simply repeat the process with each different colour Vine Flower (you shouldn't have to check the tree each time since it's most often the same for all three).

So where do those Vine Herbs fit in you might ask? Well they can be used along with drops from hunting Jadinko's to create some very beneficial potions (and some very useless ones too)!
Note: All Juju potions are mixed using Juju vials, which can be obtained from Papa Mambo.
***All potion effects will disappear upon logout***
Juju Hunter Potion
A must-have potion. This potion is used on Vine Flower patches to attract certain Jadinko's. The effect lasts for 10 minutes, and will last even if you dig up the existing flower and plant another.
Requirements: 54 Herblore, Erzille (unf) and a Corrupt Vine. Making this potion rewards you with 123 experience.
Scentless Potion
A rather handy potion, although you have to track for it's secondary which is annoying. Drinking this potion makes all your traps act as if they were smoked, allowing you to catch Jadinko's more easily. 5-minute effect.
Requirements: 59 Herblore, Argway (unf) and a Shadow Vine. Making this potion rewards you with 135 experience.
Juju Farming Potion
A farmer's best friend! This potion gives you a 33% chance of harvesting two herbs in one go from any herb patch. The effect lasts 5 minutes and works on both normal and Vine Herb patches.
Requirements: 64 Herblore, Ugune (unf) and a Marble Vine. Making this potion rewards you with 146 experience.
Juju Cooking Potion
A rather... weird potion. Using this potion on a baked potato turns it into a Strange potato which once combined with Tuna and corn creates Juju Gumbo. Juju Gumbo heals 200 Lifepoints and an additional 100 over 10 seconds.
Requirements: 67 Herblore, Shengo (unf) and Plant Teeth. Making this potion rewards you with 152 experience.
Juju Fishing Potion
This potion gives the drinker a 33% chance to catch Baron sharks when fishing for sharks. These sharks heal 200 Lifepoints and an additional 100 over 10 seconds once cooked.
*Note: Sharks Tooth Necklace effect works with these too.
Requirements: 70 Herblore, Shengo (unf) and an Aquatic Vine. Making this potion rewards you with 158 experience.
Juju Woodcutting Potion
A handy tool for anyone cutting trees. Once drunk, there is a 10% chance when cutting logs that a Wood spirit will appear who will automatically send logs you cut to the bank for 30 seconds. This potion lasts 5 minutes and the spirit can come several times during that time period. There is also an extremely small chance that a higher level log will be found, sent directly to your bank.
*Note: If the spirit's effect occurs just before the potion wears off the effect will last the full 30 seconds.
Requirements: 71 Herblore, Samaden (unf) and an Oily Vine. Making this potion rewards you with 160 experience.
Juju Mining Potion
A very useful potion for anyone mining. It has the same effects as the Woodcutting potion, albeit with ores. When mining there is a 10% chance that a Stone spirit will appear who will automatically send your ores to the bank for 30 seconds. This potion lasts 5 minutes and the spirit can come several times during that time period. There is also an extremely small chance that a higher level ore will be found, sent directly to your bank.
*Note: If the spirit's effect occurs just before the potion wears off the effect will last the full 30 seconds.
Requirements: 74 Herblore, Samaden (unf) and a Draconic Vine. Making this potion rewards you with 168 experience.
Saradomin's Blessing
A useful potion if you have spare Saradomin Vines. When drunk this potion gives you a 10% boost to all Farming experience gained
while at Herblore Habitat
. This includes the fruit tree patch. 5-minute dose.
Requirements: 75 Herblore, Samaden (unf) and a Saradomin Vine. Making this potion rewards you with 170 experience.
Guthix's Gift
A useful potion for making other Juju potions. When drunk this potion gives you a 10% boost to all Juju potions made for 5 minutes. This effect takes place anywhere, so you can make the best use of it by a bank.
Requirements: 75 Herblore, Samaden (unf) and a Guthix Vine. Making this potion rewards you with 170 experience.
Zamorak's Favour
A Hunter's best friend. When drunk this potion gives you a 10% boost to all Hunter experience gained while at Herblore Habitat. 5-minute dose.
Requirements: 75 Herblore, Samaden (unf) and a Zamorak vine. Making this potion rewards you with 170 experience.

Witchdoctor Clothing
As an added incentive to hunt here, Papa Mambo will gift you with a piece of Witchdoctor clothing once per week if you catch one of each of the Jadinko's. This acts as camouflage while at Herblore Habitat and is definitely worth getting! The mask also has unlimited teleports to Herblore Habitat.
Witchdoctor Robes/Top
If you catch at least one of each of the normal-type Jadinko's, Papa Mambo will give you one of the pieces. Which piece you receive is random, and you might get stuck with 4 robes and only one pair of leggings. As well as receiving a piece of Witchdoctor clothing, you will also be giving a small amount of experience in either Hunter, Herblore or Farming (depending on your choice).
Witchdoctor Mask
If you catch at least one of each of the god-type Jadinko's, Papa Mambo will give you a Witchdoctor Mask. To obtain multiple masks, simply drop the ones you have before talking to him again. For 30 minutes after you talk to him to get your mask, you will receive an experience boost for anything done at Herblore Habitat. Witchdoctor robes and mask give you a 2% boost each, and the leggings a 1% boost for a total of 5% boost. If used with Zamorak's Favour the boost is applied after, resulting in 15.5% Hunter experience boost.
As well as receiving a piece of Witchdoctor clothing, you will also be giving a small amount of experience in either Hunter, Herblore or Farming (depending on your choice).

Tips and Useful things to know
Traps
The most important thing to do when Hunting is to stand on your traps and always carry more traps than you can plant. There are two reasons for this, the first being that Jadinko's will not simply pass through you and if your traps are laid out correctly; standing on them will allow Jadinko's access to any trap that takes their fancy.
The picture above shows where I place my traps for Draconic/Amphibious Jadinko Hunting. As you can see I've coloured in an area on the North-eastern trap. This is to show where you can click in order to walk on top of the trap instead of picking it up. If you have caught a Jadinko, the area you click on is basically anywhere not covered by the trap (but still on it's square).
Now the second reason you should stand on your traps is to quicken the pace that you pickup your trap and lay another down. By already being on the right place to plant the new trap, you do not have to move and can "animation-skip".
As you can see in the picture above, I am picking up a trap (it being empty doesn't matter). As soon as my character starts to pick up the trap, I can click another in my inventory and begin planting. This cuts out the second half of the picking up animation. To add to this, when planting a trap your character will bend down and make several actions with his hands. On the second action you can click to move to your next location and the trap will be laid. This also cuts down on the last bit of the trap-laying animation.
*Note: if you are lucky enough to get a seed, and you clicked to lay a trap before the message came up, it will interrupt you. To get around this just lay the trap again (if you time it right, it will still plant at the right time).
Trap Priorities
Another important thing to remember when Hunting is which trap to pick up first. Often you will have several shaking traps which all need picking up. But it is not best to simply always pick up the fastest. Below is an example
As you can see, I have two traps waiting to be picked up. But, the further one has a Jadinko eyeing it out. Often you will have two Jadinko's go for the same trap. This tends to happen when one is already in the process of being caught and the other spawns. This staring Jadinko will not move onto another trap until the one it's selected is picked up or disappears. So it's always best to pick up traps with a Jadinko stuck on them first. This will free it to go find another trap, and speed up your Hunting.
Advanced Attracting
This can get very seed-intensive. But it is possible to attract multiple Jadinko's at once. As you can see below, I have attracted 5 different types all at once (I really attracted 6, but there's no way to show the Jadinko's that are tracked)
I'm going to sort Jadinko's into their attraction types:
1) Common
2) Trackable (Shadow, Diseased, Camouflaged)
3) Northern (Amphibious, Draconic)
4) Southern C's (Carrion, Cannibal)
5) Southern Others (Igneous, Aquatic)
6) God (Zamorak, Saradomin, Guthix)
This means you can attract one of each number. You can attract any combination that takes your fancy, but only one from each group. If you try to attract a Carrion and you are already attracting Cannibal Jadinko's, the Cannibal ones will disappear and you will only get Carrion ones left.
Now there's obviously no point in attracting Jadinko's in multiple areas. You simply cant split yourself up. But you can attract a duo of Jadinko's in the southern hunting area. You can even attract a semi-trio in the northern area. Doing this requires a lot of seeds.
So how do you attract several types? Simple really.
After attracting a Jadinko, if you change any of the patches that Jadinko will last for 15-20 minutes. During that time you can plant a different combination and attract another Jadinko (as long as its from a different attraction type). 15-20 minutes later you change the combination back to the first Jadinko and so on. Since Juju Hunting potions last even while changing the Vine Flower colour, you don't have to re-dose the flower.
Options
Since this is best used in the southern area, your options are Carrion/Cannibal and Aquatic/Igneous.
Aquatic Jadinko's are... useless in that their drops aren't used in any useful potion and their seeds are Vine Flowers which can be bought. But they give more experience than Igneous Jadinko's.
Igneous Jadinko's are expensive to keep switching to because they are the only Jadinko out of the four that requires a Lergberry bush. But, their secondary is used in the very useful Juju Farming potion and they drop Vine Bush seeds (so you should be able to collect replacements).
Carrion Jadinko's only drop Pungent Vines, which are used in supercompost. But their seed drop is Vine Herbs which is always needed. They also offer the most experience.
Cannibal Jadinko's give less experience than Carrion Jadinko's, but both their drops are useful to a degree. These drop Plant Teeth which are used in Juju cooking potions, and Vine Bush seeds.
Personally I find Igneous and Carrion to be the best combination because normally I get enough Vine bush seeds to cover the cost, and you can never have enough Vine Herb seeds! As well as plenty of Juju Farming potion secondaries.

Teleporting
This is really just a habit you grow into once you start doing it. It's possible to save 4-5 seconds every time you re-dose your vine flower. This is done by using your Juju Hunter potion on the blossom, and then teleporting using your Witchdoctor mask (or Juju teleport spiritbag). You can start teleporting before the potion animation finishes. Since you have unlimited teleports on your mask it's recommended to use that instead of Juju teleport spiritbags since these can get a little costly.
Now in order to get back to your traps as quickly as possible, you can right-click the ones you have placed while you are teleporting. In the picture above, I right-clicked the trap where I had a Jadinko in it.
After teleporting, you will still have the option to interact with the trap. This means you can simply click it and you will run to your trap (even with it being offscreen) instead of having to move back to your traps.
Disease
Your Farming patches are obviously susceptible to disease. While there are payment options available, it is often just easier to replant anything that becomes diseased. But often you wont notice when your flower's are dying.
Scattered around the Herblore Habitat are small vines. These represent the current Vine Blossom you have planted and will change colour/size as your Flower patch grows. If your blossom becomes diseased, they will also show this. This lets you easily know when your patches need replacing, because otherwise you could be hunting with a reduced attraction rate (due to disease) until the blossom eventually dies.

Experience Rates:
Note: these are the experience rates I have been able to get
at 99 Hunter
. This is without any summoning familiars, which would increase it slightly. If you want to go further, Scentless potions would give you more experience - but I dislike tracking so I don't use them.
On all of these I'm using Zamorak's Favour. If you want to know what sort of experience you will get without, deduct 10%.
Multi-attracting Igneous and Carrion Jadinko's:
250k/hour (not including any time taken to remove/replace patches)
Trap layout
Igneous Jadinko's:
240k/hour
Trap layout
Draconic Jadinko's (with Common):
220k/hour
*These seem very variable with exp rates. Highest I had was 260k/hour and the lowest was 150k/hour.

Added in teleporting and a little exp/hour section. I'll expand that as I get to Hunting some more.
I don't want others exp rates in there since I prefer to test things myself and know that they are accurate.
