A guide to unlocking canifis lodestone and by doing that unlocking the 4th production farming patches.

I. Inventory & Gear

Buy some Saradomin Brews and 1 or 2 Ring of Recoil. Buy as many as you think are needed (5-15) should do the job. Make sure you have enough because the Monster that needs to be defeated is Combat Lv 33. Saradomin Brews also lower your Combat stats which is needed to hit a 0 to make the kill count and to get you 0 Combat Exp.

II. Locations

Entrance to the Crypt where you find the Ghoul(Lvl. 33).

How it looks when you arrive at the Entrance of the Passage to Canifis. You will descent into the room with Cerberus but he is a Friendly Gaurdian dog.


Ghoul Location.
Once you enter the Crypt you'll spawn in a room with Cerberus. Walk past the dog and open the door. Continue following the hallway into a large room. Pass to the other end of the room and in that room ahead. There will be a Ghoul (level: 33). You have to kill it to use the Holy Barrier in the hallway next to him. Which is the way to Enter Canifis. Picture of Ghouls look will be in the Monsters section of this thread.

III. Monsters

1. Cerberus (Lv. 33)

Gaurdian dog. Friendly. Not possible to engage in combat.

2. Ghoul (Lv. 33)
The Ghoul in the Crypt is slightly darker of colour than the one in this Image. Since I defeated him I could not make a screenshot from him.

Ghoul gate keeper. Has to be defeated & is aggresive. Has to be tagged with a 0 hit for 0 Combat Exp and for the kill to count.

IV. Saradomin Brew effect

The saradomin brew has two effects.
1. Heals you for 100(legacy)/1000(EoC) (Even over full health)

2. Decreases your combat stats so you hit a 0 more likely.

Every saradomin brew will heal for 100/1000x(1,2,3,4) brew size.
It gives a defence boost aswell as seen in the Screenshot above.

V. Fight machenics
 
First off. Start by having no gear on whatsoever. When you begin the fight drink from your Saradomin brew. Note that this will decrease your combat stats heal you for 100(Legacy) and 1000(EoC). This can be used on full health as it increases your HP if used when full health to a maximum of double health on a Level. 3.

Now. Start of drinking the Brew and hit the Ghoul once. ***ATTENTION, make sure you hit a 0. If so stop attacking and wait for your ring of recoil to do the work. Heal by drinking a Saradomin Brew.

If you hit 1. Stop and run! And log-out to reset the fight and try again.
If you hit 0. Stop attacking and let your Recoil to the Damage and your Brews do the healing.

If you have killed the Ghoul, enter the Holy Barrier as displayed below.
