About
The Battle of Lumbridge (Bol) is a 10 week long world event running from the 22nd of July. The event marks the beginning of the 6th age which coincided with the release of Runescape 3 and is a battle between the Gods Zamorak and Saradomin over the life force of the recently fallen God Guthix. Both sides have sent their followers out to collect Divine Tears, the remnants of Guthix's life force. Players have been asked to choose a God and help collect Divine Tears for them. Both sides promise rewards for their followers.
Bol is located to the West of Lumbridge castle where the H.A.M hideout used to be located. Each faction has its own camp, Saradomin in the North and Zamorak in the South. Kara-Meir (located by the Lumbridge lodestone) can help new players chose their faction and let players safely change between Gods.
Bol is a
safe
minigame, if you die you will not lose any items and will respawn in your relevant camp.

Off-White Partyhat

Really rotten potato
- The Partyhat drops and Rotten potato drops disintegrate when you try to pick them up
- Jmod clones can also drop Saradominist or Zamarokian banners on the battlefield, if a player picks these up they can be won in the cape slot for up to 5 minutes. These give a passing healing effect.
When the message "Some residual energy from Guthix's life force has seeped out onto the battlefield. " is shown, a green gas will appear randomly on the battlefield. Running through this gives 15% more Tears from any units killed in the next 30 seconds.
Nodes
(click to show/hide)
Nodes are areas to collect Divine Tears or Sacred Metal Fragments (For Tear or Metal Fragment uses see Rewards). These come in the form of Fishing Pools (Fishing xp), Divine Formations (Woodcutting xp) and Divine Rocks (Mining xp). Xp gained is proportional to the level of the skill with a maximum of 218xp per collection at level 99. There are four types of nodes, Green, Yellow, Orange and Sacred Metal Fragments.
The amount of Tears collected is limited by your multiplier which falls to x0 at 3000 Tears collected per day. This resets to x5 at midnight GMT when the player logs out then back in. There is no limit on the number of Tears that can be held in your inventory. (To exceed the Tear limit see Extra)
When the message "Rocks are falling from the sky. Avoid them! " appears rocks will land, these can be mined to give a
Divine Shard
. A Divine Shard is worth 30 tears but only one can be carried in the inventory at any given time.
Green
nodes are the standard node on the battlefield, this gives a random number of tears up to the value on your multiplier.
Yellow
nodes occur randomly and give 3x the usual amount of tears collected. With a x5 multiplier a maximum of 15 tears can be collected at once. When they appear the message "Several resource gathering points have become unstable. Be careful!" is shown.
Orange
nodes occur randomly and when collected deal damage equivalent to 10% of your maximum hp, they give no Tears. When they appear they display the same message as yellow nodes.
Sacred Metal Fragments
also randomly occur but unlike other nodes they give Sacred Metal Fragments instead of Tears. They give a random number of Fragments up to a maximum of 10 per collection. The message "Several resource points have turned to sacred metal." is displayed when they appear.
Rewards
(click to show/hide)
Rewards are gained from the Quartermaster in either camp for the cost of Renown. Renown is gained by depositing Tears at your camp's Collection Point, 1 Tear = 1 Renown. Handing in Tears also gives Faction points where 10 Tears = 1 point, and Votes also with 10 Tears to 1 vote. Votes decide what change will be made in the next week to your factions army composition.
Armours
(click to show/hide)
Both sides have Warpriest armour, it is a hybrid armour which scales its protection in line with the players defense level up to 75. At level 75+ defense it has stats equivalent to full dragon. To stop this being made the best F2P armour it only has the stats on full mithril on F2P servers. The armour is kept on death outside the wilderness and only 1 set from each faction can be owned at once.
Cosmetic Overrides
(click to show/hide)
This is where your Sacred Metal Fragments come in useful. There are 6 cosmetic overrides for weapons, 3 for each faction. Each weapon needs 1000 Sacred Metal Fragments and part of the weapon to complete it. After you have collected 6000 Metal Fragments it becomes useless to collect more.
To Collect the second part of the override (not the fragments) you can get them from anything at BOL as a rare item. The fastest method is killing NPC's to find the parts. Zamorakian followers drop iycenic parts and Saradominist followers infernal.
Staff override - Icyenic/Infernal orb + 1000 Sacred Metal Fragments
Hammer/Maul override - Icyenic/Infernal Greathammer head + 1000 Sacred Metal Fragments
Bow override - Icyenic/Infernal Bowstaff + 1000 Sacred Metal Fragments

The FC's require you to have your online status to be on. As a world is called you add the caller and Quick Hop to them, once the world is dead you go back to you assigned world to "scout" for nodes once more. If you have you online status turned off or you do not go back to your assigned world you are considered a leecher and are kicked/banned from the fc.
M - Metal Fragment Nodes
Y - Yellow Nodes
I - Instanced (the called node is unreachable)
A - Active/Alive
D - Dead/Done (the world no longer has any useful nodes)
C - Confirmed
Worlds will be called with a phrase similar to "w25 m" this means there are metal fragments in world 25.
That call would be followed with "w25 m c" by someone who had hopped there. This is them confirming that there is metal nodes and you arnt trolling.
As the world died "w25 m d" would be called anouncing that the world is no longer useable.
Official forum post for the fc:

- Yellow Nodes do
NOT
count towards your multiplier keeping it at x5 and therefore do not count towards your daily limit of 3000 Tears a day. Collecting from yellows only can average 5000+ a day with minimal effort. The current record is over 50,000 Tears in 1 day using this method. The high scores do not count over 30,000 a day but you can get the Renown still.
- The Fishing Nodes seem to be the last ones to die the vast majority of the time.
- Tears collected from outside BOL count towards your daily limit of 3000.
- There is a bug where any Titles or weapon parts that are fished do not appear in your inventory, bank or floor, it is advised not to use fishing as a method for finding them.
- When the message " Rocks are falling from the sky. Avoid them!" appears, any players or NPC's in the landing area are instantly killed. Mining these rocks gives a Diving Shard. Shards are worth 30 tears but only 1 one can be held in your inventory at any given time.
