Basic Dominion Tower/Dreadnip/Goliath Gloves For Dummies

This Will Be A Small Guide for Dominion Tower
As requested by some people
By Kevin/davedays
Disclaimer : I am not a 'pro' at Dominion Tower but I thought I would make a simple guide to help some members out

What is Dominion Tower

It is a minigame released by Jagex requiring at least 110 combat to participate in it, however anyone can spectate. It comes with new rewards which can be used outside of the tower including dreadnips, and the special dominion tower gloves which each have special effects.

This guide will focus on efficient methods to get Boss kills for dreadnips, and specific boss kills for Goliath gloves, I will be making more guides focusing on other gloves in the future.

How To Get There

Route Green - Follow this path from Al Kharid Lodestone
Route Red - House teleport to Polly and run on this path
Route Yellow - The Fairy ring path from North of Nardah (DLQ)
Route Black - Fairy Ring path from Kalphite Lair, run west (BIQ)

After you've spoken to the 'Tower' inside you can ask him for a Dominion Medallion, this can teleport you to the tower 3 times daily

Requirements

You MUST have at least 110 to participate in dominion tower

You MUST have completed at LEAST 20 of these following quests
(click to show/hide)

Requirements for Goliath Gloves

You must have to defeat these bosses to be able to get the Goliath Gloves (quests included), Nomad (Nomad's Requiem), Do No Evil Monkeys (Do No Evil), Dagannoth Sentinnels (Blood Runs Deep), The Untouchable (Dream Mentor), Balance Elemental (While Guthix Sleeps) and Ice Demon (Temple at Sennisten), note you also need 500 boss kills to get Goliaths.
I also recommend the level for a war tortoise, to last longer when hunting for nomad or doing double nomad, also ganodermic to make Nomad a whole lot easier, overloads/extremes + turmoil for faster boss kills.

Set Up for Fast Boss Kills

You can replace Kiln Cape with Firecape, Bandos with barrows or just rune, Goliath gloves with barrows gloves.

Bring a super set if you don't have extremes and antifire potions in case you get elvarg, he hits HIGH with dragonfire. If you don't have scorpion meat you can use sharks or monkfish. If you have done Spirits of Elid you'll need a crush weapon such as a chaotic maul, 2 handed sword or dragon battleaxe, they'll all do fine.

ADD: Thanks everyone for reminding me about a Special attack weapon, had no claws at the time so forgot completely about them :P Claws would be a great special attack weapon as it kills the boss extremely fast literally halving the kill time, dragon daggers can work decently as well.

Bosses to skip if you're going for Fast Boss Kills
If you're going for fast boss kills you would want to skip the bosses that are tedious and take a long time, these include:

Guide is in the making just testing some last minute stuff

Set Up To Get Nomad Fast and Done
Low Level Set-Up
This Armour Setup can be used for high and low levels, ganodermic makes it a lot easier because of the damage absorbtion update.

You can choose to downgrade some items but I strongly recommend keeping the ganodermic, you can also wear a ring of vigour instead of beserker ring to save 10% special each bgs spec, if you do not have a chaotic you can choose to replace it with a Bandos Godsword, that would work well as well.

You would want to pot up and use the bandos godsword special as early as possible and if you don't have overloads use a 3:1 Brew/Restore ratio, since you've done Nomad's Requiem the boss fight should be fairly easy.

And the familiar should look something like this

How to get to Nomad

I recommend using Endurance difficulty, Nomad starts to appear at floor 6 so don't panic if you aren't getting him earlier on, I recommend skipping bosses mentioned above incase you waste food and familiar time.

High Level Setup

The gear you use should be relatively the same as the one mentioned above, here is the inventory.

Also a familiar BoB filled with Brews and Restores, 3:1 Ratio should be fine.

However if you are able to use this high level set-up, killing Nomad will be much more simpler, you can do the Dominion Special Challenge mode and pick, No More Nomad No More, this allows you to go straight to Nomad, only catch is you have to defeat 2 Nomads, one after the other, however this shouldnt be too difficult. If you can afford it or already have one you can use a Statius Warhammer to speed up the Nomad kills easily.

Wouldn't it also help to bring a spec weapon like Claws for faster boss kills?

Bringing Claws will increase your kill speed as special restores every fight.

Replace the Fury for a Super Dominion Necklace if you want a stat boost, as you do not need to waste money with potions, but Extremes still would work.

Yes. They are the best one handed crush weapon And they look sick. The bonuses are better than or the same as barrows gloves in everything. They also only degrade in melee combat.

I use a tribrid setup so I can kill more bosses and a healing familiar to save inventory space.

I really like this! But the problem for me is my hatred of quests :( if I can one day conjure up the motivation to overcome my hatred I may have to go there for these "amazing gloves".

Thanks for that tho maybe one day ill do it :)

Removing the Taunt cut scene and victory cut scenes can accumulate more boss kills per hour as well
