Hey everyone!
Over the past week i've been rather busy IRL but anytime i've had i've been putting in undercover work into teamspeak we'll call it a makeover.
I've given the teamspeak a basic layout so its clean and crisp and will be editing this further to what people actually work.
Updates -
Channels for each activity to not cause overcalls confusion and such e.g. people having a casual chat while others doing NEX/Rots etc and making calls and what not - More channels to be added if needed/wanted
Permissions fixed - a few permissions had powers that they should not have had e.g. ability to delete channels and rename certain things for example - This has now been fixed and groups have no powers unless High tier staff or server admin etc.
Icons - A highly requested thing but proving trouble at the minute - The server will undergo a restart asap hopefully to allow the ability for icons to be added chopped edited etc - these come with server groups and more will be added and made upon request - E.g. Skilling team etc

Teamspeak also has had a size increase thanks to lilly! so Jump in and have a chat

Server icons are actually being a trouble atm for some reason they wont load in to be visible to other people so need to find out why this is

They don't appear to be uploaded. If you right-click the server and select view icons, all of them aren't there :P I tried uploading the owner icon, but I couldn't bind it to the group (requires server admin I guess). Was mainly playing around to see how it worked, never administered TS before

I know Dave just finished revamping the teamspeak but still I'd like to know if any of you ever heard about Discord, and have to say it would be a good replacement for teamspeak in the future.
It is free, it is modern, it is better than teamspeak in many aspects, I've been using it for like a month now and have nothing bad to say about it

Personally i find discord horrible. My clan used it for about 2days before we got rid of it

Why did you found it horrible?

We'll actually be getting Discord as well, but we'll be keeping Teamspeak because it's probably not realistic to migrate all users as people have preferences. I am also not sure if Discord adequately can replace TS, but it does offer a few advantages and there's nothing to stop us from using both :)

Nope rather easy i'll have a music channel set up and get intructions in for a bot when i'm free

Why did you found it horrible?
It kept cutting out mid convo the voice relay was delayed it was buggy/ glitchy and slow loading also didnt like the way u need to acctually "quit" rather than just close/minimize it
We took a vote and over 100 voted yes for us to go back to ts
Just personal preference but as said nothing wrong with both being used

Personally I'll mostly be using Discord for its text chat. It can be a nice way to group chat with the clan and it's very convenient. No need to install a client for example!
