We will be taking a lovely trip down memory lane this month for the end of year newsletter, covering the most impactful and important changes that happened in Consentus throughout the year.
But first...A little something from the owners
Only LillyAnd here starts a New Year. I have a feeling this is going to be a tough year for Runescape and therefore us. We have a great community I am confident that whatever is thrown at us we will jump over it and carry on as normal.
The staff work extremely hard maintaining the clan and providing events both on the forums and in-game. May I take this opportunity to thank each one of you for your support in maintaining our community, as we definitely couldn't do it without each one of you. Much love Lilly xxx
2018 was a fantastic year and it makes me proud to see how far we have come. Despite the game being in decline, and its impact on communities, we are thriving more than ever. I have you all to thank for that. You are what makes this clan so great, and I think that it’s amazing how the clan enables us to welcome and help people in a way we couldn't do as individuals. Here’s to an even better 2019!
I'm not really someone that's great at coming up with something sentimental, but I would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year and thank you for making Consentus great! 2018 was another great year for Consentus and I really do hope that we continue to grow throughout 2019. Keep being you because it's you that makes this clan a family
Happy new year everyone! What a year 2018 was, we celebrated our 8th birthday as a clan (thanks to all the haters who thought we’d never make it!), offered more clan events than ever before, made the annual pilgrimage to RuneFest and spent many hours together for double xp! Thank you to every single one of you that has attended a clan event or simply participated in the clan chat - it really makes a difference to the clan experience. Thank you to the staff team that work tirelessly behind the scenes to keep the forums in order, create events and promote a positive atmosphere.
As we head into 2019, you can expect to see a wide variety of ingame events, useful updates to our offsite forums and hopefully a few surprise irl events too! Thank you for being such an integral part of Consentus.
What an amazing year we've had! Thank YOU all for making this clan the best in Runescape. Every single one of you makes this clan what it is...and it's really special.
We appreciate you all so much. I also want to thank our Staff Team for taking the time our of their real lives to plan and host events, moderate the cc and forum, and help make the decisions that keep us running smoothly. And especially thanks to Team Summer (both past and present) for catching my vision of being lights in the clan and running with it. You all put so much heart into your efforts, and I just appreciate you all so much.
As we look forward to 2019, I see only good things for Consentus. With the addition of the Community meetings, we can better tailor our offerings to what you want/need, and with a smaller, more focused staff team, we can work like a well-oiled machine. 2019 will be filled with fun events, group achievements, pvm, weekly gatherings, and of course, Peace & Harmony in Everything We Do.
I would like to thank Jager_Candy for their dedication and being a member of staff helping run Clan Consentus. I'm sure you'll be missed from all teams and I wish you the best

Events!Thanks to our dedicated staff members, both past and present, we achieved over 200 clan events. Just kidding! We were actually just a few digits short of creating and hosting 400 clan events, how impressive is that?
As much as I would
love to talk about each event we held individually, I think it's best we pick our favourites or we'll be here all year!
But before I talk about that, might I remember everyone that there is another IRL event happening which is the Bear Grylls adventure. The event will be happening on the 23
rd of March so be sure to let Lilly know if you plan on attending. More details about the event
can be found here Now that's out of the way let us move on to the wonderful events we held throughout 2018, kicking us off with perhaps the biggest event we held this year were the celebrations as Clan Consentus turned
8 in September! I won't go too in-depth as it has already been covered in a
previous newsletter, but it's safe to say that we had a good turnout and a wide variety of events ranging from skill wars to drop parties.
This year we trailed a new type of event that we were worried might not have worked due to how the event is supposed to be played and that, of course, is the Secret Santa event. I was initially worried that not a lot of people would be interested in signiing up and for those who did sign up wouldn't give good gifts. Now that the event has passed I can confidently say that the event was a beaming success. We had 39 people sign up in total and all but one gave gifts
Taking place during the same time as the Secret Santa event was the Annual Awards. This event sees members nominating members of the clan that they think are worth of a certain award, for example, biggest noob. Once the players had been nominated we then had a second vote to vote on the most popular 5 nominees for that category...
