Server Lag joined the events team after a great performance on previous events, so well done to him.

Member of the Month

No one was recognized this month as being outstanding and going out of there way so we have decided to skip it this month.

However, as she wouldn't choose herself as Member of the month I've decided it should go to Lilly for once again hosting the real life event, organizing everything from the Camping on the Friday to Sunday and sorting out how everyone was going to get to and from her house and get to the camp on the Friday, also having Cristiano So thank you so much for that!

Pro & Noob of the Month
Every month, we track the experience gained by all members who take part in the Pro & Noob competition. The member who gains the most experience will be awarded the Pro status*, and the member who gains the last amount of experience is awarded the noob status**. If you're not already being tracked, or you change your name, let us know by posting on here (http://consentus.co.uk/index.php?topic=73.0). The Pro for August with  65,489,127 xp was the infamous Redtunnel!!, and the Noob with 269,600 xp was Monochrome!!

Don't forget to make sure your name is on both trackers for the monthly and yearly ones.

*Those who have won the Pro from the previous month are unable to win it the following month, to allow other members the chance
**To be applicable for this rank, the player must have gained a minimum of 250k experience in the month, in order to account for those who are inactive.

Citadel Collecting
Everyone knows that collecting resources in the citadel by yourself can be boring, so why not join us on a Saturday afternoon to collect your resources with other clan mates, which definitely makes your time at the citadel more enjoyable. Also, after three weeks of collecting, members are able to collect an experience reward from the clan cloak. Quiz Night
On Saturday evenings, Consentus hosts a quiz night, where the theme of the questions can be voted for by members. So its now time for the months achievements.. and what a month it has been!

Mike - This month has seen him smash his way through many rounds warbands to achieve 99 Mining and stolen from many pyramids to achieve 99 Thieving!

Josh #2 (Justly) - He's had a busy month robbing Npc's blind all the way to 99 Thieving.. then Bored himself to death by getting 99 Divination!

ShaneGoesArd - Not sure if this guy is a warbands queen or not but he's managed to pluck 99 Herblore and Farming out of thin air.. so Well done!

Myself.. how could i forget me - I have been a busy bee and stayed focused towards max achieving 99 Mining, Smithing, Runecrafting and Hunter so go me..

Matty - This little aussie scumbag has quite the taste for the herb.. so this month got 99 Herblore oh and he also steals stuff with 99 Theiving!

SuperAsh - Quite the little superstar worked his way to 99 Smithing and Construction this month.. still cant catch me tho :p

Ghettopopper - One word of advice dont leave anything near this guy he will steal it.. he steals so much hes got 120 Thieivng Huge grats!

His ladyship Robert - Sneaked his way to 120 Dungeoneering whilst getting all gold trophies on neopets.. and he also is a thief with 99 Thieving!

CallMeMatt - Another criminal whats with all the thiefs this month?? another 99 Thieiving Grats!

Spitty 69 - Prayed his way into the bishops bedroom and got 99 Prayer well done!

Pebblefish - Likes the sound of people saying dont shoot.. then wham bam arrow to the head with 99 Ranging!

And lets not forget this Queen.. Rowdy has achieved 99 Slayer which gained him Maxed Skiller status Well done for all the hard work you have put into that.. now go be #1 skiller.. o wait hi Red :p
Let not forget also he achieved a gorgeous cape this month with 120 Smithing.. Well done.

Although personally, I still have a problem with the results of the P&N.

(Couldn't quote because it's a locked thread, but here's what the rules read):

Information
At the beginning of each month, every member of the clan will begin to be tracked. At the end of the month, the user with the most experience will receive the Pro ranking. The person who gained the least experience over 250,000 will receive the Noob ranking. The owner's of these rankings will have the same permissions as before, and keep the rank for one month until the next "Pro" and "Noob" is crowned. User's joining the clan during a month that's already being tracked will be added to the tracker but they will obviously be at a major disadvantage. Inactive users will not count. To be an "Inactive" user you must have gained under 250,000 experience that month. Anything over means you are fair game. Goodluck to our future Pro and Noob!

WARNING: If you change your name within the current month your xp will reset back to zero.
If you need a name changed please post it here

New rule as of May 2012
The winner of the previous month will remain on the tracker but cannot win for that month, allowing other competitors the chance to win.

New rule as of May 2013
Pro & Noob will now only be for in-game ranked members.


And it does not (at least to my understanding) clarify that if you leave the clan during a particular month and rejoin within the same month period that your previous experience gained in the month will be completely discounted and according to this, Meg should have won this month's P&N;

Granted it may be too late to change the results and that's fine, but I would at least ask that this rule is particular should be clarified in the information of the P&N so that a case like this does not arise again?


Edit: Why not impliment the former member rule for the forums to the P&N aswell?So if they don't re-join within 48 hours then the exp they have earned previously is disregarded after this 48 hour period?

Goes away joins the clan as a new member so starts to get tracked at the most recent join date.
When did she joined? In the end of the month, it looks pretty clear to me.

Its just how it works on the runescape website clan thing isn't it?
Why should it be different here?
If someone leaves a clan during the clan cup competion and decides to rejoin do you think jagex will keep the exp that person had on a little desktop note waiting for the person to join back to keep tracking from where the person was?

the only thing the clan lost when Meg left was a ton of clan xp (300m-400m+) and got pushed further down the rankings, she left for ~10 hours and the tracker has maybe 500k exp on it that does not count. There was no rule in place stating "If you leave during the month and rejoin your exp gets wiped", sure it can get put in after this situation but it's unfair that it's being implemented on the spot, it's just silly and makes no sense, and is disrespectful to meg who put in the most effort for exp to help the clan out. Guess leaving and making that xp go away is a tough loss  XD

Leave the clan, lose your exp. Simple.

I'm bored of people leaving and then re-joining when they fancy. This isn't the first time Meg has left and re-joined within a short period of time.

No rules were created for this situation and I know by reading this two rules you can clearly understand why she lost her exp Runar.
Her monthly exp was tracked from the most recent join date, it says on second rule that only ranked members will be tracked, she was not a member at some point stopped being tracked, joined the clan during the month started to get tracked as it says on the first rule.
We'd have a bible of rules if people can't read two of them and understand how they work in conjunction.

She left after a petty argument, she rejoined less than a day later, the rule does not state that if you leave the clan at the end of the month your exp stops tracking, or gets wiped. If the rule stated that, I would agree with it.
She gained 73M exp, she left on the 29th of august, basically the 3rd last day of the entire month, and rejoined the very next day. It's really lame to see people denying the fact Meg won this month's pro and noob considering it's a harmless/pointless competition that should not stir this much up, but it clearly does because the people hosting it refuse to abide by their own rules.
