Requirements
5 Driftwood (Discovered on Uncharted Isles
Starting the Miniquest
Talk to the Boni, the rewards trader about claiming an uncharted isle.
Go to Quartermaster Gull, located at the docks, select the option to Travel and select Uncharted Isles Since you can't claim land yet, go for the smaller Islands which will cost 5 Supplies. You can buy supplies from Rosie for 50 Chimes per Supply
Once you have all 5 Driftwood, return to Boni, the rewards trader to hand them over.
Miniquest Complete
Rewards;
500 Chimes
2 Taijitu
Ability to claim an uncharted Isle
Island claim flag in Waiko reward shop

If someone has figured out the fastest way to get chimes, I'd be happy to hear about it. Also, how do I craft or smith? Don't really want to activities that yield no XP :P

Not as bootiful as you fam. Was there anything good on the Island?
I've visited 3 so far.
1. Medium voyage = 3 driftwood & a bucket. 2. Medium voyage = wushroom mushrooms and driftwood. 3. Large voyage = 2 golden bamboo spots, wushrooms, driftwood and normal bamboo.
Yet to claim an island! gonna see what my next large one is like !
